Wonder who will be other judges, suppose BBC3 is too low rent for Graham Norton...maybe someone like Rylan?

As much as I’m not particularly excited about this whole venture - and I bet you that Visage will scream I’M A DRAG QUEEN TOO! within the first five minutes - at least we’ll all know who they actually ARE when it comes to the Snatch Game

I bet I won't. I bet we still get a few TOWIE and Real Housewives Of Nantwich types and I'm none the wiser still.

I recently saw the most diabolical queen at London’s glamorous Central Station - paddling pool full of piss downstairs, deluxe eaterie and hotel upstairs :disco: - singing the oh! so hilarious ‘My Old Man’s A Muslim’ (:manson: x everything ever) like it was fucking 1974 so hopefully she died on the way to the audition

Actually (TOWIE brigade dependent) we should hopefully be able to recognise all the guest judges as well. Quite coming round to the idea now :side-eye:

Ooh I do like the prospect of the guest judges nobody has heard of in the UK being replace by people only UK and adjacent internet gays have heard of.

talking heads queen: I’ve always modelled my drag on Hyacinth Bucket and I’ve been a Little Boots fan since I was 6 years old!
 
Not sure what to make of this but there’s already so much referencing to the Royals, I can’t help but think this will be what Americans would want from a UK version as opposed to what us Brits probably want.

There are so many iconic people worth Snatching that I’d probably watch for that alone.

It’s taken me a while to get here but the lack of diversité (Sonique in the lovely Christmas special aside, and of course we have Gia :disco: in AS4) is suddenly making Drag Race look like a very old and tired donkey. Well, that and the same old format which Ru is too lazy and disinterested to do anything with because she’s far too busy counting her coin, MICHELLE VISAGE IS HERE!, Ru’s vile tinny songs, AHAHAHAHAHA, etc.

I think the slow build in success of the US show won't have helped in that regard. I imagine a huge chunk of the audience have only discovered it in the last 2 years or so, and so I think only a small proportion of the audience will consider it tired, and will be calling our for change in that respect.
 
True actually

Ru doesn’t care about us true fans who’ve been there from the start. (Well, season 5.) Tossed aside like a flabby old cabbage :(
 
Drag kings doesn't make sense though ? I mean the whole premise of being a drag queen is to give the female illusion, so is a drag king a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman? I don't get it
 
Presumably they mean just women pretending to be men competing against men pretending to be women? Assuming you buy the construct of gender, anyway (TEAR IT APART).

Or perhaps like Cherdonna Shinatra, a female impersonator impersonator
