HAPPY CLOCKS GO FORWARD DAY, kids, SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE! I spent most of yesterday in the pub, was restrained and only very slightly tiddly and so was up with the lark this morning.

Taking the OLD GIRL out for lunch today and planning to see in the first long evening of the year with a nice walk.

GOD I'M OLD.

This clock change has not gone well with my insomnia. Sunny here but there's an Old Firm game on today so there should be a rammy or two in Glesga later today.

Good Morning World. We have another STUNNER of a day today. I have been awake since 5am so left him indoors in bed to go for a run and made him some breakfast in bed upon my return. I have friends coming round anytime now to watch the football. I shall be sitting in the corner sneering with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Yesterday, I bought 113 albums by the same artist on Bandcamp, Total cost about £25 (incl VAT - VAT on downloads annoys me, where is the added value, exactly?). It's a lot of audio.

Oh that’s nice, I had a nose on Facebook to see what an ex (I guess) was doing these days, since his name popped up while searching someone else (true story)

And he’s dating a former Moopy poster! WTF
I’m not posting on here who it is in case they still lurk

Give us a clue

Good afternoon! I haven't done much today - popped over to see my dad's partner and give her flowers etc, phoned my mum, and now I've come into town to let the Old Firm traffic around my place die down a bit. I keep noticing just how much Mother's Day stuff there is out there, plastered across every shop window etc - was it always like this, or have they ramped it up? Not looking forward to Father's Day, I'll tell you that much :basil:

Well I don’t know if they’re a good match, because from what I know they are both liable to getting furiously pissed off and being unable to understand differing opinions

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT

OMG it’s Sebastian_Flyte isn’t it?

I think it depends how close if falls to Easter - a few weeks apart and they go all out. Same weekend or one on either side and it tends to get stuck behind piles of chocolate eggs

(PS - first one's the worst; after that it gets a bit easier xx)

It never falls that close to Easter - it's fixed according to Easter Sunday, isn't it?

The spawn came down to spend the day with me (Mr F was at work all day), offered me lunch from wherever I wanted and I chose Tesco cafe. As well as them doing a good all-day breakfast I knew it wouldn't cost her more than £20. I didn't tell her that's why I chose it obviously.

And you don't think she may have guessed?!

I'd be amazed if she didn't have as much as an inkling.

I've never been to our local Tesco cafe, but the Sainsburys one does a cracking beef baguette, complete with mini pot of gravy.

Well that doesn't narrow it down very much.

Everyone is gone and I am trying to sober up in time for Line of Duty.

I do love a wet barm or baguette (meat with gravy on). Nowhere round here does them anymore, a local cafe used to do a chicken, stuffing and gravy binlid (giant barmcake) or a beef and fried onion one that I'd have sold my mother for.
