Thursday is a poll clerk at the local elections

I postal vote these days. Much easier as my polling station is in an awkward place.

I'd miss not voting in person.

Although what was our polling station (an old council housing office) has just been turned into a homeless hostel, so if they move it somewhere that isn't on my way to or from work, I may consider postal voting.

First time voting at my new house today. I appear to still be registered at my old place as well, so I could vote twice if I really wanted. I'd tell them but there could be another EU referendum sometime soon.

I voted on the way to work. A Lib Dem was hanging about outside the polling station. Makes a change from the usual UKIP clan but they haven’t bothered putting anybody on the ballot this year. I’m surprised anybody else has, as IF Bournemouth is going to vote anything but TORY.

No elections here in Scotland today...my polling station is pretty close to me but I'm tempted to go back to a postal vote because it's all got a bit too Brexit up the road and those areas have the same polling station.

I'm looking forward to voting. It's nearly my favourite thing, after crisps and watching people fall over.

So, if you see someone at the ballot box and they trip over whilst eating a bag of Walkers Cheese and Onion, will you just cum in yr pants there and then or would you be able to get that safely into the wank bank?

You just had to choose the worst crisp.

Otherwise, yes, instant jizz.

It's gotta be MARMITE or WORCESTER SAUCE flavour or it's NOT GONNA WORK FOR ME

I do miss Worcester sauce flavour Wheat Crunchies...

Now I'm hungry for DEMOCRACY and CRISPS and I just voted.

I also love going to the polls. I'm also proud that I've never once missed the opportunity to vote. Doesn't sound a big thing, but compare that to someone in my office who is 24 and has never bothered... :manson:

I only didn't vote in the POLICE COMMISSIONER elections  and in the 2001 general election where the council filed my change of address form in the bin and failed to put me on the register. I SHOULD HAVE SUED and if it hadn't been such a non-event of an election I would have.

I go and spoil my paper in the police commissioner elections because they are SUCH A COMPLETE WASTE OF FUCKING TIME AND EXPENSE. Only time I've ever done that...

I have also never failed to vote when I've had the opportunity. I've only voted for the winning side once (Police and Crime Commissioner Elections 2016) so I'm looking forward to improving that now that I'm voting in Manchester.

No elections here either. My polling card is here and POISED for the Euro ones though.

I did once fail to vote, but I was travelling abroad for 6 months and too young/lazy to sort out postal votes.

My Euro poll card also hasn't turned up yet. They'd better not have noticed that I'm registered twice and taken me off in the wrong bloody place.

FUCKING Farage has just popped through my letterbox. CUNT OFF. He's getting a Hitler tache before he goes in the recycling.

There's an area around London on this map of who-is-holding-elections and it looks like a prawn.

I see that map has mostly cut off Northern Ireland. Like it deserves.

At least Angelsey hasn't floated off into the Atlantic or somewhere again.

Always check for a Freepost return address first!

Which town or city is the eye of the prawn on that map?

I didn’t realise how few places were voting

Wouldn’t it just make sense to nationally standardise it all?
