I hate this - all these toffs coming out to say that they tried marijuana one time on their GAP-YAH (oh please, as if that gaggle of former journalists, lawyers and daytime TV presenters haven't been coked out of their minds since the nineties) but absolutely no recognition that our drug laws are draconian and outdated.

Yeah, I don't actually care if Boris Johnson has done so much heroin that he's now having to inject into his cock because he can't find a vein in his arms, but the hypocrisy of judging others for their drug habits at the same time is astonishing.

Actually, I have no reason to believe that Johnson is on heroin, but it would explain almost everything about his behaviour over the last fifteen years or so.

He's going for 'grass roots' (ugh) Tory party members isn't he? I mean that's the thing - he's not popular with them, so I guess playing it this way he can win their vote given what they're like. He's playing the game well - especially also not taking any media interviews as he'll only put his foot in it.

Gove is down at the moment. Hunt the CUNT will never get in as he was a remainer to begin with and they won't want that.

Which really only leaves him with Leadsom (three-point plan bollocks & lying on her C.V. - YES WE REMEMBER) and Raab (sexist misogynist DANGER signs flashing ahead even if physically he is easy on the eye :shy:) .

It's Boris's to lose really...
 
Rory Stewart should defect to the Lib Dems. He'd be more at home there and he'd have a better chance of becoming Prime Minister. Unless that Ummana's plan...

It looks like Hunt really wants it. He is a lying psychopath in my experience working for the NHS. We should, as a nation, be very wary of him if he gets in.
 
Johnson's tax cut plan is nothing more than a bribe for wealthy pensioners. He says he's going to pay for it primarily through National Insurance contributions, which pensioners don't pay. It also means that middle rate taxpayers will be paying the most towards funding his tax cut and that's just despicable.
 
I hate them all, but Stewart is the only one vaguely acceptable to me.
 
Having said that, he'd be such an odd looking little man to be our PM.

But on the flipside, he's so terrible he can only do the tories damage publically. And he's the least likely to get anything from Europe, and even Jez and his dreams of Lexit couldn't support crashing out with no deal, so weirdly, he's probably the best choice if you want the tories to die and brexit fail.
 
He's also likely to soak up some of the votes that would have gone to BXP if we had a moderate/soft brexit leader and there was a GE, we all just have to really really beg the universe for a miracle when it comes to Labour pulling their fucking fingers out!

Our only hope is that someone has a nugget of news that can bury him but given everything the press are happy with, this seems unlikely.
 
The fact that the attempt to block No Deal yesterday failed is really concerning... And it was fucking Labour MPs who kept it from passing. The motion was defeated by 11 votes - eight Labour MPs defied the whip ands 15 abstained. :manson:

Labour are as destructive a force as the Tories at the moment and any of you still lending your support to them are as dated and antiquated in your views as Tory voters.

I’m surprised Leadsom is out and surprised that Hancock is through. Leadsom and mcvey’s votes will surely go to Johnson. They’re both as awful and right wing as him.

The big question is who will be 2nd place in the government vote . As things stand it really could be any of the other 6. I’m hoping for Stewart so much just because he represents something completely different to the rest.
 
I truly don't understand how Kate Hoey is still a Labour MP. Is she still popular in her constituency?

Also, remember when people thought Caroline Flint was 'fabulous'? :side-eye:
