These rumoured dates are doing the rounds on some forums. Odd that no UK dates are in there but they could be either at the start or end of the itinerary. Or she's skipping the UK altogether (unlikely, but...)

Sep 16 Lisbon Altice
Sep 17 Lisbon Altice
Sep 21 Barcelona Palau Sant Jordi
Sept 24 Lyon Halle Tony Garnier
Sept 28 Bern Stade de Suisse
Sep 30 Paris Paris La Défense Arena
Oct 3 Amsterdam Ziggo Dome
Oct 5 Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena
Oct 6 Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena
Oct 9 Rome PalaLottomatica
Oct 10 Rome PalaLottomatica
Oct 13 Prague 02
Oct 16 Helsinki Hartwall Arena

can't wait to be BANKRUPTED by this

last time I seem to recall Amsterdam tickets were actually a very reasonable 80 euros or so for general standing, so fingers crossed it will be sub-100 this time...

There are some very unpleasant rumours going round that she may be going down the 'small venue' route rather than a big tour this time. Which can only mean that A) tickets will be a nightmare to get and B) they will be exceptionally expensive.

Are those venues above smaller than what she has played before?

Not really, most are the same arenas she played on Rebel Heart, but these are rumoured dates only and I think the 'small venue' rumour mill pretty much nullifies these above dates. But let's wait and see. I reckon she won't announce the tour until much later this time...

I won't be bothering this time around. As thrilling as she can be live, her shows are never a slam dunk for me and the prices just ludicrous. If she plays smaller venues, God help everyone who wants to get in.

Having said that, I'd LOVE an Anti-Tour. I've been listening to the audio loons who do The Immaculate Podcast recently (basically a rerun through her career by two rather charming fans) and they were clamouring for the same, though without referencing Kylie. The setlist would be amazing.

Sadly I don't think Madge is sufficiently self-aware of her own back catalogue to make that work. But if she did I hope the show would open and close with BDay Song.

I can't see her doing an Anti-Tour in the same way that Kylie did. She's just far too pretentious for that and she'd just ruin them.

Madonna Anti Tour setlist:

1. Candy Shop ('rock' version)
2. Rescue Me (reggaeton version)
3. Bitch I'm Madonna (extended version for extra torture)
4. Holiday (20 second snippet with Candy Shop reprise elements)
5. Like A Prayer (featuring Nicki Minaj, Maluma, Quavo, Swae Lee & Cardi B guest holograms)

etc. etc. etc.

I can’t find that podcast, do you listen on iTunes?

7. 15-minute stand-up 'comedy' spoken word 'interlude' (with musical elements of Bitch I'm Madonna, SEX and Holy Water in the background (CD versions))

I'm here for ANYTHING Candy Shop :o

My SUGAH is RAWR

I really don't think she will take the small venue route - she might do some intimate one-off shows similar to that nightmarish one in Paris or the Tears of a Clown, but it'll be alongside the arenas. She loves making bank too much, she feeds off the adoration of 15k fans in one room, she loves staging big shows... there will be arenas.

Can we use this thread for things about the actual musical content of the tour?

I mean by all means continue the hot “this ordinary carrot is expensive” chat in the other thread
