Minister for Pop Music please, 5 milli pledged for a MUNA marketing push and heavy payola :disco: at a cost of millicents for the taxpayer!

I’m no good at politics but surely you will allow me to be fashion exec. Watching all those dowdy outfits when I have tuned in knocks me SICK.

This is infinitely more enticing than any of the prospects on my ballot paper.

The way this cabinets shaping up the party is going to look like the cast of Pose

My health policies will include imprisonment for anyone sharing antivax propaganda on Facebook and incentives for workers with gross colds to stay the fuck at home.

Stick that right at the top of the manifesto

Also making mental issues as urgent as broken bones. Fuck me I could smash this job.

Where is magical money tree? By decommissioning fucking Trident.

Are England due TORRENTIAL SNOW on Polling Day like we apparently are?

Could someone put a policy in place to ban sensationalist weather headlines. Fuck it I'm renaming my team the Health and Weather Department.

I mean we have a nuclear weapons system that has never been used JUST IN CASE but we don't have suitable snow clearing infrastructure. We really are a shit cunt of a nation.

May I be Justice Secretary? I'm feeling a burning need to administer some justice.

Ambassador to Japan please. TBH I don’t want to move all my stuff.

Also I’ve devoting a lot of time to, let’s say, improving diplomatic relations :)

See, I'm with Frankie Boyle - I think a rusting, unrenewed Trident is much more sinister and frightening. "Look Kim, we've found this in a warehouse in the Clyde, fuck knows what it'll do but if you're willing to take the risk..."

A haunted nuclear submarine is way more intimidating than a shinny new one.

It consistently shocks me how ignorant some people are about politics. (although it really shouldn't)

Someone at work has just said they'll vote whatever i tell them to. Wish i had power over more people.

Most of the potentially easily led people at my work aren't actually registered. Which is a touch frustrating.

A girl I went to school with let her kid pick her brexit vote, then was shocked when leave won.

Just some light rain according to the BBC. SHAME, we could use a blizzard or two to keep the elderly in their homes and AWAY FROM OUR DEMOCRACY.

Yeah but it would be fun to wipe the Tories out of Scotland again and it really could make all the difference.

Maybe Boris will come to regret not having the election on the 9th.

My wife is doing a pub quiz where apparently she's allowed to phone a friend for one answer.

Question: what's the name of the PORK MARKETS lady?

Not sure. Maybe @Shirley can help

Holy shit :D

There's absolutely no way he'll do it now, of course, as if he ever intended to. But thanks to that, the damage he was hoping to avoid is surely done.

At first I was like "Ooh, that's going to sting" and then he FULLY WENT IN.

(Johnson's still getting a majority though :()

The issue is that if Johnson does do it, he can rehearse all the questions as they've already been said!

It's not like any of it's new information though. Or indeed anything he can change, his record is his record.

I think it's lose/lose for him really. He was never going to actually show his face. In the unlikely event that he does now it'll still be a squirm-fest.

I may well be delusional, but I don’t think this seems like the one horse race that it did a few weeks ago.

The polls are narrowing, but they always do, and the Tories still have a 7-10 point lead with a week to go, depending which polls you look at.
