I mean 'been to' as in spent an hour or so around them, not 'driven through' or 'changed at Birmingham new street'

Armagh
Belfast
Bristol
Coventry
Derry
Edinburgh
Lisburn
Liverpool
London
Manchester
Newry
Oxford
Salford
Southampton
Winchester

London
Oxford - once for a wedding, so didn’t see much.
Coventry - although not really in the city, visited my cousin who studied in Warwick(?) university years ago.

I’d need a 2-weeks visit to London. Would love to explore it properly as all my visits since 2003 were short.

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and maybe Bristol are on my list of cities I’d like to visit one day.

Apparently I've been to about a third, which seems pretty rubbish internal UK travel. I've been to more countries than that.

Superficial ranking:
1. Edinburgh
2. Liverpool
3. London
4. Winchester
5. Belfast
6. Bristol
7. Southampton
8. Manchester
9. Oxford
10. Derry
11. Armagh
12. Lisburn
13. Newry
14. Coventry
15. Salford

My exploration of the UK is pretty terrible; most of my selections were visits as a child. Since adulthood, I think I did London, Cambridge, Manchester... and then Newcastle, Leeds, Coventry, Edinburgh and Sunderland for work.

I’ve done every Midlands and North West city, a fair few in Yorkshire, a select few down in that south, and bugger all in East Angular and Wales. I have NEVER BEEN to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

I’m surprised so many have been to Bangor tbh :D

I’ve been to 13 and apart from London I wouldn’t want to live in any :D

I’m surprised anyone else has ever been to Lichfield. It’s the size of a shoe and there’s FUCK ALL there apart from a Waitrose (because they think they’re posh even though they’re from Staffordshire).

It was a stop off between Gloucester and Manchester that I had never been to before. Wanted to tick off cities i’ve visited list OF COURSE :D

Both times I've been scheduled to hit Manchester, the events I'd have been attending have been cancelled.

I'm not much of a traveller. I like my own bed in my own bedroom.

gotta say, V&A Dundee was pretty great, they had an awesome computer game exhibition on when I went. and I got a marvellous Bloody Mary at a nearby bar

Leeds, Liverpool, Oxford and York are probably the one most significant ones I've never been to.

Actually I may have been to York as a young child, seeing as I lived in Yorkshire until I was 5. How Oxford has escaped me, I don't know.

I went to York last year when I went to visit my friend in Pickering. I was supposed to be going for a stag do in June but that’s out the window barring a miracle.

Cities I've been to RANK

  5. Bristol
  6. Cambridge

Fun fact! My hometown has a castle and a cathedral and used to be a city, but fucked up the paperwork in the 90s and got demoted.

They called themselves a city a while back and got done by advertising standards :)

That's it. At least we'll always have Charles Dickens and... Er... Kelly Brook to put us on the map.

Does visiting the University of Warwick count for Coventry? Ruling from @Indie please.

OH I've just remembered I went to Leeds to see M*rrissey a few years ago. Added that in. (how annoying that if you do "change your vote" you have to tick them all again )

Are Swindon and Milton Keynes not cities? Just trying to think of the relatively few places I’ve been outside my London bubble. I get confused.
