Friday ignores a PM from Kala

I;ve been here EIGHT years now. I can't quite believe that. I still remember the day I finally joined spurred on by 3/4 of a bottle of wine in my hotel in Newcastle. For the first two years on here, I was still working away from home Monday to Friday and stuck in a hotel room 4 nights a week, so Moopy definitely got me through that.

The first thread I posted was about Lulu being a CUNT, and I was absolutely slated by you all. Not much has changed since then :D

I read quite a good thread about KESHA on popjustice a couple of months ago (although it was about 250 pages long) and I thought about joining but it was CLOSED for new members.

I'd been lurking for about two years, so I was pretty aware of what Moopy was all about but it was probably a bit MUCH for someone to come on here and immediately slag off Lulu, rate things things 13/10 and talk randomly in CAPITALS. :D

I was on Lowculture for a while. Nice bunch of people, it was just missing that dangerous edge which Moopy’s got. I want the rush of feeling like I’m no more than a Madonna criticism away from a knifing, it makes me feel alive.

I split my browsing time between here and Buzzjack (kinda surprised that one hasn't come up yet) but I've made ten posts over there in the past week and upwards of 60 on here so I think we can see where my loyalty lies now

Are they doing similar in terms of a program of increased entertainment?
 
They've split posters into three teams which are doing various activities and quizzes over the course of a few weeks to see who can score the most points but the Eurovision forum is a GHOST TOWN

Oh that's quite fun. Although I think we're going to end up DEAD IN GROUPS as par for the natural course.
 
I used to be a Moderator on Popjustice for YEARS back in around 2003-2007 I think. It actually used to be quite a fun place back then, and while people weren't as cunty as on Moopy, they were a nice bunch of folk. I kinda lost interest in posting there after they moved forums to different software for a second time. Nowadays it's a completely different place with 3500 page threads on The Saturdays and Girls Aloud and any negative comment about someone's appearance is completely shot down. Take for example the Madonna or Britney threads - here we would quite easily pass comment or call someone out for their actions like that infamous Madonna video of her drinking wine with a spoon. Over there though everyone is treated as some sort of DEITY.

I assume they've lost posters. Editorial moderating is a subtle skill. Overzealousness is not part of that skill set!

I've been for a 4 mile walk in the train. I feel I deserve alcohol now but wine seems a bit too hardcore. It's either that or vodka.
 
I've been putting off going out because the BBC have been saying 99% chance of rain all day and it hasn't rained a DROP YET :manson:

I went for a lunchtime cycle and didn't take my waterproofs because BBC said 15% rain. I got piss wet through.

BBC weather really has been utter bollocks since they dropped the Met Office.
