Bollocks to that! I've tried to make real effort to fit the criteria here. Only to have some queen waltz in with a stunning track with no relation to country? No!

Yes it really should have specified before hand. And why was it only checked half an hour before a promised event?
 
Kala maybe you need a co-host if this is too much for you? Take it easy and don't panic.
 
For balance, we're literally waiting for a list of countries, with no context whatsoever, we can't enter yet, it's hardly like the destruction of some epic event.

I know! I've taken the country thing mega seriously. My artist has refused to go for the blood test I requested, but all available information suggests they actually are from my country and singing in its language. If we get Spice Up Your Life for China because Emma Bunton once had a cat called Chairman Meow, it'll be a massive kick in the bollocks considering the slavish effort I've put in.

To be fair, we can punish that in our voting ourselves. If you don't think the link between country and song is strong enough, don't give them points. That way we don't need to stress Kala too much with trying to get things disqualified.

I guess when it's built up and events are promised, it's kinda frustrating. Especially as it appears to be over something avoidable and ignorable.
 
So much negativity in those last few posts.

I have to say, I’m in love with my song and have been listening to it non stop but I don’t think it will play for the masses.

I care how related to each country the entries are. If someone enters Like A Prayer for Malawi because that's where Madonna buys her children then there may be a score penalty.

This was aimed more at everyone else than at Kala. If I'm given a rule to follow I'll do so with almost religious devotion, and I'd hope other people will do the same.
