I live where he grew up! There’s a mural on the side of a chip shop ! Some of the pubs are quite nice actually just with crap lager :D

The Lion of Vienna was our student haunt. Glad to hear it's still going, at least. Not been there in AGES.

Ha! The Woodthorpe is the destination that one simply has to visit on a Fall tour. Not only did they film a video there but his post-funeral wake was held there too. It turned into a fight, of course. Which is how he would have wanted it...

Oh it’s a short walk away for me ! Lovely building but was just a little bit shabby last time I went. They’ve refurbed recently though

I actually quite liked her and I think I must have missed why she is hated with such a PASSION. Is it just the fattism? I found her quite WITTY and FUNNY.

Although I did go to a cash point to take some money out once with her and I had to SHIELD my PIN number because she got uncomfortably CLOSE (true story).
 
If she decided not to turn on you and/or stab you in the back, she was fine :) Yes she was funny.

:D! I don’t like to point the finger but I once had a meeting at QVC with refreshments served by a rather surly tea lady. Suffice it to say that that was the last I saw of my purse :(

No, I only met her once in one of the weirdest moopymeets I remember. Nink the sink turned up with his wife? and people were openly talking about how ODD they were pretty much to their faces...

I’ve nothing to really add but confirm that INDEED she really is an angel and a LOVELY FRIEND IRL.

But then everyone I’ve met off of Moopy was really really RATHER NICE.

It probably was.

The main thing I remember about her was that she was the same height as you, but somehow claimed to be about four inches taller.

I cant remember her ever being anything other than lovely. I would hazard a guess that she still lurks along with Emma and a load of others from times past.
 
Another great Moopy lady that I was thinking about is Snork Maiden. I think she was pregnant around the same time as me. She was LOVELY.

She certainly was. She now teaches in the school I went to as a kid which is a bit headtrippy but there we go.

She was an absolute darling. Yes, Diarmuid is 13 now. I am pretty sure we were pregnant at around the same time.
