Ron Jr back at school this morning which lends a sense of normality back in life.
 
I wish both mine were back at school. Trying to have sneaky sex with nosey teenagers in the house all day every day is doing me in.

Eldest starts back tomorrow for 1 day a week. The other one isn't back till September. :(

This has been my biggest lockdown issue, I'm expecting my cock to drop off this week or we're getting divorced.

Back in the old days my dad could just leave a few tins of glue in the shed and leave us to it.

Can't you just treat them to some nitrous oxide and tell them to fuck off to the park?
 
I spent all night dreaming about finding amazingly rare vinyl releases that actually don't exist in real life in charity shops for ridiculously cheap prices in anticipation of this GLORIOUS DAY OF REOPENING SHIT.

I think I have a problem.

I don't find the shops reopening exciting at all. I yhink most of them are going to be pretty grim unpleasant places to be for starters. Don't touch anything! Don't try anything on!
 
I couldn't give two shits about shops opening to be honest.. but I do often have bizarre dreams about finding/buying rare vinyl that does not exist :D
 
I think HMV is reopening today. Rough Trade tomorrow.

Kind of forgotten if we have any more than that already.

Oh I do, but last night was a REAL HUMDINGER.

I was clearly in a "deal with what's worrying you in real life" mood as alongside it, I was dreaming about finding another cancer lump, having loads of emails at work I hadn't answered as I was on garden leave but nobody had realised and going to go swimming in the sea but finding it was far too cold as I hadn't noticed summer had ended :D
 
I'm not bothered about OTHER shops opening at all. Haven't missed them at all. But I also plan to use this time off to find enough of a stock of records to open a little market stall or something (for when THEY are back open) and begin to realise my dream of one day opening an actual record shop. We'll see.

So they’re bringing in all the new face mask rules into work today. I’ve got to wear a FACE COVERING when walking from the car park into the department then swap into a SURGICAL MASK when I get in. Why it’s only starting now, particularly considering I’ve been booking Covid-19 patients in for the best part of TWO MONTHS I don’t know :D

The bus is mad this morning. I’m on the top deck with 2 other people and there’s an announcement going off that the bus is full and won’t be accepting any more passengers?!?

I'm waiting for one of my colleagues to come and pick me up for work - I'm the only one who uses public transport, so they've decided they don't want me using the bus but will also only pay for so many taxis :(

Restaurants/bars however I yearn for. What I'd give for a nice glass of wine on a sunny terrace with a bit of food. *sigh*
 
And something else that’s already PISSED me off this morning is the UKIP candidate for a completely different constituency coming to the village and filming a group of gypsies/travellers who have been parked up in the leisure centre car park for the past few days. He seems quite oblivious to the fact that people might want to live their lives DIFFERENTLY, and has posted said video onto the local Facebook group. It’s PRETTY CLEAR what he’s trying to achieve and looking at the comments it looks like he already has :angry:
 
The temptation to take a trip to Carlisle to get a professional to sort my hair. It has been ABUSED during lockdown.

I spent 5 minutes in town. I needed to go to Secret Sainsbury’s where no one ever goes and so no queue and so walked into town after. Absolutely vile. Ridiculous queues for Primark, Sports Direct and Argos (!!!), fuck all social distancing, probably Christmas levels of busy. Took one look and turned straight around again. Vinyl shopping can wait another day.
