Moopy's Greatest Dance Anthems - Bonus Round: The Results

I regularly fall into a trap of listening to horrible 'nightcore' versions of all kinds of songs on YouTube. Now there's a possibility for the next rate.
All of them are SHIT but I guess we could vote for the worst one. :side-eye:

I feel like the woman in the BBE video is actively furious that she can't make a poor job of lip syncing because there aren't any lyrics.

I came of age when Flux was released so it’s quite special but it’s also one of the STANDOUT songs of that era.

I do like Ascension, but if we were having a long trance song that was inexplicably ignored the first time round, I'd have rather had Dutch Force. I hope it's going to be next.

Amazed I never knew this back in the day. I had a few trance compilations, but the names often escaped me so they didn't always stick. There was also just SO MANY of them back in the day, you can be forgiven for missing a few here and there...

Oh, there are some a-list trance tracks that I forget the names of. It happens.

This, mind, doesn't seem to figure all that often on trance playlists - it's at a bit of a crossroads with europop so I assume it gets snubbed because of it.

It's like a softly spoken Lasgo.

I'm not entirely sure about the vocal bit of Komodo. It makes me feel like the whole song really belongs in a chill out rate. Finishing second to 'At The River' by Groove Armada.

Several weeks ago I sent Sweet Lullaby by Deep Forest to a friend because he had never heard it. He said "Oh, now I know where Mauro Picotto's Komodo got the vocal bit from". So we both learnt something that day.

I really love this part. I'm big on trance songs that move into a completely different temp/genre, it makes the drop that much more intense.

OMG FLUX MADE IT. ALL IS FORGIVEN.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I’d prefer this without the vocals tbh, although I imagine on eccys on the beach it becomes spiritual.

The video to Flux is an all time favourite as well.
