Moopy’s Greatest Dance Anthems EXTRA. Tonight after Kalavision.

Before this rate, I would have assumed that Faithless were just about 'Insomnia' and 'God Is A DJ' but this and the ten minute version of 'Salva Mea' are everything.
Buddha Bar is my hidden gem of theirs. I don't really understand where it came from, because it's not on any of their albums. As far as I know, it was produced for a specific venue.

Is this some drug reference that poor innocent me doesn't get
I've told the story a few times (although I was pilled off my tits when it happened, yes). I was watching them at Creamfields, we'd got talking to a group of lads - one of whom was a midget. He couldn't see the stage, so I let him sit on my shoulders. Long story short, the pills kicked in while I was dancing to We Come 1 with a midget on my back.

That's what they want you to think. The only reason they don't eat us is because we're a lot bigger than them. They'd tuck in no qualms if they could.
Probably, but the same is true of house cats and you're not scared of them. My sister's cat frequently looks at me as if to say that if he didn't weigh ten pounds then I would be dead.

'We Are Your Friends' is a great track. I have a personal prejudice that it should be followed with 'Hustler' by Simian Mobile Disco but we don't have to stick by that.

Justice. Oh I could have nominated SO many indie-dance things if I'd thought they'd have got anywhere. These, LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax, !!!... We didn't even have any DAFT PUNK did we!

Not a bean of Daft Punk in the final 480 songs. Apart from the mash up with Sub Sub.
JUSTICE and LCD Soundsystem would have qualified, I'd have thought.

Ag's Friday Night Mash Up (coming soon) will obviously include Daft Punk and other notable omissions.

Incidentally, would there be interest in me preparing an upbeat indie playlist for this slot to follow the end of the rate, Kalavision and Ag's thing? Not really proper dance songs, but the sort of thing that gets played at a club's alternative night.

I always forget the name of my favourite Royskopp song. It's the one that goes Bip bip bi BIP! Bip bip bi BIP!

FUCK YES

Royksopp feature so heavily in my most played songs of all time. Love them.

Absolutely no Fatboy Slim in the entire rate, which was a shock. I'm not the biggest fan, although I shook his hand at Manumission in Ibiza because I'm two faced like that.
I wasn't a huge fan but I saw him live a few years ago and it was AMAZING!

I have a dream DJ setlist on my iTunes that will never see the light of day because no-one would appreciate it except me.

Yup very keen.

Papua New Guinea to finish. Lovely. I admire your restraint in not using some eleven minute long version of it.
