Should mention there’s also a Tupac musical and a Green Day musical because gay people aren’t all the same and don’t all like the same things :side-eye:

I’m not going try to shut down musicals, but saying Minogue is restrictive and musicals aren’t, I disagree with that.

I’m not a theatre queen, I can probably name 2 or 3 times as many Minogue songs as musical songs (or musicals full stop!).

for all the difference you might as well have said it was too GAY!
 
But Musicals literally includes the songbooks of Whitney, ABBA, Spice Girls, Queen, Green Day, as well as Disney such as the Lion King & Frozen and that's before you even consider Greatest Showman, Hamilton, Hairspray, etc etc.
 
I guess I meant in terms of song stylings, having the range of two Minogue to pick from vs literally any and every type of song possible.

There are so many jukebox musicals you don’t need to be stagey to find a song.

now how can I put this? Personally I don’t want to turn up to a musicals round with a pop hit. It would be like... oh never mind :eyes: :D

anyway I’m still IN (especially if Disney would be considered kosher)

I think pop hits that are from musicals is perfectly acceptable though.

dUb already referenced Priscilla and the range of disco you can select from that (there is even a Kylie medley!)

Mamma Mia for ABBA, The Band covers Take That... Christ you even get The Proclaimers with Sunshine on Leith.

And yeah, since we got two renditions of Maybe This Time under the umbrella of Spice Girls... well.

I think as long as you up the THEATRICALITY of the PERF, jukebox musical songs are FINE

But I'll still be voting for whoever brings the SONDHEIM :disco:

However, IF there is to be serious talk of a Minogue round, could it perhaps be a Moopy Divas round? Incorporating the likes of them, Madonna, Gaga... and Mariah Carey
