I must say that I don’t remember Gloria presenting it but I’d obviously have been desperate to copy HER hair. A level of exquisite and sultry glamour which has been rare to behold since the heyday of Hollywood :disco:

I see from Wiki that Pebble Mill is fondly remembered by “housewives, students and those recovering from an illness” (:D)

No, it really, really isn’t. It’s quite brilliant. Try listening to it more than once before forming an opinion! In fairness, based on your posts yesterday, it sounds like you had made up your mind before you even listened.
 
Obviously I will listen further and get back to you but it’s really the whole style that I think is completely wrong at this stage in her career.

Even the artwork is DREADFUL.
 
I mean the album isn't a masterpiece, but it deserved better than this. There was so much potential. Not to mention APPETITE from listeners.

I don't buy, for a second, that the pandemic 'ruined' it because it's just FALSE.

I suppose the question now is does she still care? And is it too late to salvage?
 
I don't know what you're all freaking out about, Gaga turning up to promote is probably the thing that is most likely to SINK this album. Call it the Joe Biden approach :eyes:

I mean, a few music videos and performances would be NICE, but I'm sure we'll get them eventually. It would be nice for them to be pushing 911 now for a Summer smash, but the music is still out there and doing FINE if people want it.

I could now mention that Katy Perry is plopping up literally wherever people will have her right now, and that is doing NOTHING for her campaign...but I feel that point has been made multiple times already :D
 
I just love her voice and think she’s so talented. Why does she squander it all on this hackneyed crap?

I saw this Radio Gaga thing. It seems to be focused around THE ALBAM, so she is promoting it still, KINDA
