The only one I find remotely attractive in the show is the bisexual carpenter* :disco: more for his CHUTZPAH than anything else. Also he gave us what is probably the best pre-credits sequence of the whole show:

[HALF-NAKED MAN COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER JUST WEARING A TOWEL] "Hi, I'm Jake"

[MOIRA] "Well of course you are!"

*And I guess Eugene Levy on a DADDY DAY.

Levy really did fill the cast with beautiful men. And then chose the Patrick actor for himself.

The guy who plays Ted appeared in Ru Paul All Stars or something (I don't watch so I've not seen, only caught wind of it). I believe he's STRAIGHTILY MARRIED but he was FAWNING OVER how his life had CHANGED after DRAG so YOU MAY BE IN WITH A CHANCE! Remember he didn't take much CONVINCING to snog Dan Levy playing SPIN THE BOTTLE :eyes:

The Patrick and David relationship is the heart of the show for me, and really makes David a more rounded character. It is beautifully written and one of the purest things you’ll see on the telly. If you can’t see that then I worry for your future boyfriends. Pls get help xxx

:D

I'd rather MARRY Johnny Rose who is LOADED and a bit of a PUSHOVER so I can spend the day POSITIVELY BEDEVILED WITH MEETINGS ET CETERA and throwing tantrums over NOTHING dressed in COUTURE.

The vet and the carpenter were pretty but just another pair of mannequins looks wise

Patrick is absolutely gorgeous. The mannerisms, the personality, the cheeky smile, the BUM :disco:

gimme boy next door every day of the week

Ok finished Season 1. The episode length is short enough to get few a couple at a time but... well I’m not really getting it.

HATE Alexis, yes she’s spoilt and manipulative but where are the jokes? Zero growth so far
David is the intriguing one, though the progress he had made seemed to disappear by the end of the season.
Johnny and Moira are just sort of ticking along

hmm

Everything I've seen of this show makes it look like it was created by an algorithm designed to generate as many sassy Twitter gifs as possible. I'll probably never watch it!

There's a lot of terrible things being said.

a) @COB it's so much better than a load of gifs
b) @Diddy It's probably best understood from a point of completion. Especially Alexis.

Not to give anything away, but the end of Season 6, Episode 8 is one of my favorite TV relationship moments EVER

It's interesting because it was similar to the end of Normal People, but it was so much more effective in Schitt's Creek, the sitcom

Yes, just how *did* we make it all the way through that multi-Emmy Award-winning, critically-lauded, universally-acclaimed TV show? We deserve medals!

Alright Diva
I’m not getting into it yet, but are you trying to prove my opinion is wrong?
No I think I’m giving a :manson:

I didn’t love season 1, telling me that season 6 is great doesn’t help

No. You literally asked how we kept going until season 6. If you didn't want a response, you could have been clearer about that, idk.

Five pages of chatter about the show and your main take-away from it all is "it's shit until season 6"?

Ok! :eyes:

For what it's worth, I didn't find season 1 that immediate. Season 2 is where I properly fell in love with the show. If you aren't feeling it after a few episodes of S2, I would give up.

You'd be a broken human being though, and I'd urge you to seek medical attention.

I KNEW what Diddy was going to say about this show as soon as I clicked on the thread and saw last replied :D

I have noticed a few gays on Twitter confusing 'not liking Schitt's Creek' with having an edgy personality trait.

If you don't find it funny, just don't watch it! There's no need to make a whole song and dance about it!

I'm glad I watched before everyone declared it the best thing since Fleabag. The pressure!

Maybe this isn’t for me then, same went for Community
