Tuesday is working on a secret project they can’t talk about

so corona is a struggle? how about the fact that we've had about 1 hour of sun TOTAL so far in December? I feel GREY :zombie:

For the last time, I’m not doing OnlyFans! It was something else, and I haven’t done it for a while because I was being fat-shamed

I does not feel like it's only ten days from Christmas. The complete absence of any sort of parties or other celebrations just makes it feel like a permanent January.

That's it, isn't it? The lack of any of the usual activity has left a real gap. I'm working on Saturday and usually no-one wants that shift and this year, everyone is fine with it.

I get the impression a real sense of fatigue, misery, depression and anger is setting in for many people I know.

This is true. There’s been nothing to break the month up or look forward to. I’ve been going on some nice walks and whatnot but nothing specifically Christmas-related.

I know I'm the only one but I miss the Christmas work do this year. it's always nice to wine and dine on the company bill (tax payers' money in this case!), have a rowdy little shake off with the boss, and especially this year it would've been nice to vent with colleagues after what has been a frustrating year

well there's always the virtual do on Skype tomorrow from 2pm-3pm :)

We have our Christmas meeting this afternoon. I am just going to keep my camera off and do my own thing for the hour.

I won't even bother tomorrow. it'll be awkward interruptions, kids making noise in the background, that one guy who is not aware his mic is on and mumbling to himself...

there's not even one of them who I'd like to catch on camera touching themself

One of my colleagues is retiring today so we're getting a takeaway in, which I suppose doubles as our Christmas lunch as well. I was having to explain how Just Eat works to my manager earlier, and that we didn't have to pre book everything at 9am :eyes:

We're not having any kind of event but...get this...we get an extra hour off before the 25th! My cup doth overflow.

We got a £25 Just Eat voucher which I'm chuffed with. Probably more than they would have spent on us per head at a Christmas do (last year we got a cheap finger buffet and one drink). Also doing a "Christmas quiz" on Thursday which sounds horrific but I will be imbibing. :)

Result.

They are also having a prize draw in my place but as I never win anything, I don't care. Typical of the piece tho' - "we can't do something for everyone so we're going to reward a few of you at random instead, all good?". Erm...

Oh I forgot, we got £20 each, to be spent on something for the store :)
