The offical Moopy Eurodance EXTRAvaganza: Fri FEB 12th 9PM

PATRIC: Love Me (1994, UK number 54)

The GORGEOUS Patric was Patric Osbourne, who went on to join a line up of FLOP BOYBAND Worlds Apart and later SPREAD HIS LEGS for PlayGirl. Yes there are official NUDES out there queens. Patric is still hot TO THIS DAY, with a whiff of Jeremy Meeks about him.

ANYWAY I highly doubt Patric had anything to do with this song aside from appearing in the video :D It’s essentially a Cappella song in all but name, and seemingly Cappella’s attempt at creating a solo act. Perhaps they should have released it under the Cappella name, as I’m sure it would have done better. An absolute BLINDER of a tune ANYWAY!

Can somebody help me to find this playlist on my Samsung Smart TV?

Anyway - yay for 2 Unlimited - always the likeable face of Eurodance where so many other acts remained faceless. Selling themselves to teen magazine really helped

One of the children at my office is very into 90s dance because her Dad liked it when he was her age. We fell out shortly after she told me that.

This is the first one I don't know. Luckily it sounds like 100 songs I do know, so its an easy adjustment

Is THIS any good?

On youtube if you press play on a laptop, after a few second there should be an option to CAST to your TV - it's been life changing for me over lockdown!

Magic Affair - omen III - a Eurodance update on the act "Mysterious Arts" who had a German number 1 with "das omen" and a follow-up called "omen II"

CAPPELLA: Move It Up (Fierce edit) (1994, UK number 16)

There is SO MUCH Cappella I could have chosen for this, but the absolute ludicrousness of Move It Up (FIERCE EDIT) wins out for me. It’s actually quite different to their other singles in terms of being a bit darker, and to my ears more MELODIC.
The FIERCE EDIT dialled up the drama even further from the already amazing album version, and it has quite a slick and cool video for a Eurodance ACT also - especially considering some of the videos Cappella had released earlier in this campaign.
(That we are meant to believe front-woman KELLY O does vocals on this track truly extends the realms of plausibility too :D ).

All of Cappella’s singles from their debut were amazing, and special shout out to U and Me and Move On Baby which are both personal faves, both aurally and visually.
