Soldi's inability to predict draws in Copabet is really starting to blow up in everyone else's faces.

I still find it hilarious (but also strangely delightful) that it needed the UEFA for the Germans to finally get loud in their vocal support of the LGBTQ community. Louder than they have EVER BEEN. :D

But you can't deny the toxic power of the UEFA being cowards in the face of Orban. It's triggering.

Germany have played significantly better than England this tournament. I can't see anything other than a big Germany win.

That was fucking intense. I hate Ronaldo.

Although I would’ve rather had Portugal facing England so the latter has a better chance of losing.
 
I'm quietly pleased we've drawn Germany (instead of France at least). We looked at our best against the high press that the Czechs were playing and the Germans are probably closest to that style. Going off the short highlights and Twitter, they were somewhat shaky against Hungary too.

Whoever wins is going to have a good chance at going deep into the tournament. It's such a lopsided draw.

It all depends on which German team turns up for the game. If Germany play like they did against Portugal, then I can't see us coping, particularly out wide.

We'll gain some confidence from our genuinely solid defensive displays in our group games, but if our full-backs are pinned back (Kimmich and Gosens have both looked pretty dangerous thus far), it removes the attacking support from the team and leads to this aimless passing about the pitch.
 
How does it work with copabet now we’re in the knockout stages? Surely we’ve all got different countries playing different matches?

I don’t fully understand the scoring, but I think you get points for predicting the correct teams to be in the last 16, then the quarter finals and so on, with more points scored if you predicted them in exactly the right place in the draw.

So lopsided! Has to be a good chance that whichever of England and Germany prevails is going to make the final.

Don't rule out the Netherlands. They've looked very good and have some real talent.

But otherwise yes.

Wales vs England in the semis? Just imagine.
