Sunday gets roasted

Happy one week anniversary of singledom to me.

A young couple sat opposite me on the tube last night and were all kissy kissy and I was like  but then they started having an argument. Good times :basil:

was out celebrating a couple of friends’ engagement in a bar (illegally, coz we’re not allowed to drink standing up or dance in bars at the moment :eyes: )

I changed my reaction to this post from 😮 to 👍🏼 then again to :basil:

I prefer going out weekdays tbh, I like to spend my weekends watching shit TV in my pants.

Last night I had a plan for cleaning jobs to do around the house today.

Today I can't be arsed. Maybe the cleaning fairy will do them during the week while I'm at work. If not, it'll all still need cleaning next weekend anyway.

You're not allowed to drink standing up :o

Covid rules are crazy.

This is when the Wetherspoons app comes in handy tho. Order at the table.

Yes drinking sitting down was one we had as well. Because you cant get covid sat in a chair in a pub.

My other favourite was big shops having an in and out door, because covid obeys one way systems

I've eaten way too much today. My January diet has spiralled off the racks.

In better news, Waitrose Millionaire's Shortbread is probably the best I've ever tasted.

AS YOU WERE.

Is it ESSENTIAL Millionaire's Shortbread?

I have eaten out or takeaway every day since thursday 😂

PRETTY MUCH THIS TOO.

Working away destroys me. I just eat shit on the road and then I get home and there's no food in and I can't be fucked wasting my time actually food shopping. I'm doing Hello Fresh next week because it's £18 for 6 meals, but I need to sort my shit out.

I did Hello Fresh for a month or so last year. The food was lovely but there was SO MUCH excess packaging and it always took DOUBLE the time to prepare and cook than it said on the instructions.

£18 for 6 meals though?!

I was paying £35 for roughly the same, and that was with a student discount!

January intro offer. Only going to do it this week and then sack it off. It's far cheaper to do my own thing...

I've been tempted by Hello Fresh introductory offers a few times, but can never get over the line with it.

I was the same, but £18 for a week was too good to ignore.

I was also surprised by the relative lack of vegan options...

We're going to cycle through a bunch of meal delivery services to get the offer. I really like them for the variety, but also the PORTION CONTROL. I always have eyes bigger than my stomach when I cook so having everything pre-measured with no ability to make more is excellent
