Do you want tags to return?

I loved tags but no I haven't missed them. No one is losing out, moopy certainly isn't, so why bother at this stage. If we were going to bring them back with added rules etc, it should have been after the event. It all feels a bit redundant now.

I agree with @COB, I think people end up using them in some way in their posts which ends up making for richer threads overall.
 
I changed my vote to no.

I do miss them, but Moopy has survived without them. They were too much trouble.

Hashtags could be fun though. Can't hide behind a hashtag.
 
I'm surprised at how little difference removing them has made. Even if they were to return, I don't even think I'd bother.
 
As it happened, we did FINE without the things. If we're going to go backwards, we may as will bring back GREEN REPUTATION POINTS and have done with it.

I have fond memories of tags it was as a casual google search that matched an exact one which led me here. And while Moopy didn’t deliver on its promise of “stig of the dump exposed anus”, I decided to stay anyway.

Oh there was a particular kind of abbreviated surreal humour that I miss. But once something's gone too far, it's incredibly difficult to pull it back and it's just not worth it.
 
I don't want tags back, but I do think it's time to resuscitate the Captain Sir Tom Moore DEAD thread.
