With the proviso that all Tory MPs are despicable cunts, I’m hoping the next PM will somehow be a remainer. Brexiters and Brexit-voters are morons and/or bigots who should be denied all political power for eternity.

That leaves Wallace, Truss, Javid, Tugendhat, and Hunt I guess?

Wallace keeps against same-sex marriage, so clearly he need to go in the bin.

Truss is a ridiculous human being, Javid saw nothing wrong with claiming non-som status whilst a banker. Anything red flags about Tugendhat or Hunt?

Tugendhat might be the least-worst option as far as I can tell he's relatively moderate. He'd do nothing good for Palestine, and China hates him, but he's a remainer and he seems to take climate change somewhat seriously.
 
As much as I would weep tears of joy to see a Remainer in charge, won't it just give the Brexiters the excuse to say "Brexit isn't working because it's being implemented by a Remainer"? Part of the long-term discrediting of Brexit must come from watching it fail, despite being delivered by Brexiters.
 
Unsurprisingly the majority of politician who continue to delude themselves about Brexit are also varying shade of climate change deniers though. The fact that Boris seemed to take that somewhat seriously was perhaps his sole redeeming feature.

We are well beyond that point and now in the depths of its very visible and easily quantifiable failure. That was an argument which was easy to make when negotiating the withdrawal, but less so now.

Totally get how she would seem like that and in many ways she is socially liberal, but she is fiercely pro-Brexit and an economic hawk.

Anybody scratching round for a candidate whom is pro-European (or at least pragmatic), economically centrist and socially liberal all at once is going to be looking for a long time. That Conservative party is dead for now.
