Hi Moopy.

I thought I'd be good today and make soup, chopped all my veg up and the soup maker has died 😭 I've only had it a few months.

Bad Monday.

RIP your soup maker. Mine is like a member of my own family xx

:( I'm so sad, it was working fine! Now there's no power. I'm currently talking to Amazon to see what to do with it

I like soup. I've just had some chocolate soup and last night i had some delicious barley and hop soup.

(i.e. hot chocolate, and beer).

I may resort to chocolate and beer soon.

I'm now having to boil my veg on the stove, how common.

Talking of soup I made French Onion Pasta last night which was ace.

What a lovely man Varsha is <3

I've got mushroom chow mein for lunch and it's DELIGHTFUL :disco:

Just wait until the BONFIRE by the end of the year where you also lose entitlement to paid holidays and sick leave :disco:
I own my own business, I pretty much pay myself all the time whether I'm at work or not :)

Sucks for others tho :(

Oh they'll find some other way to screw you over I'm sure !
Oh I can quite believe it. Small businesses are already being screwed over.

Apparently there's no limit on what companies can charge businesses for electric. So ours has gone from £1500 a year, to £5000 a year...in the space of 2 years :(

What does a soup maker do? I have never found making any sort of soup a hardship, so a soup maker doesn’t seem necessary to me. Unless it chops up all the veg for you I think I will carry on with the old conventional method.

It basically cooks and blends it all in one go, rather than using a saucepan and then a blender. To be honest after just using the blender, it's been pretty easy. I don't think I need a soup maker but it saves a small amount of time and energy I guess.

I don’t think it would be for me. I just find making soup an incredibly easy and smooth experience generally I would never have thought of buying a gadget to make it even easier again.

We only recently got a blender for Mandy to make smoothies. So prior to that I couldn't really make soup, so it made sense to buy a soup maker.

Then Mandy got a blender.

Its a blender that gets hot 🤷‍♀️

Currently making brocoli and stilton soup.

The benefit is you prepare the ingredients, throw them in and then ignore it entirely until it beeps and you can season it and CONSUME.

And no I don't especially like cooking over a hot stove, so that's taken away from the process and it won't make a mess. Bitches may sneer but I'm winning here.

The weather is so nice today. Very tempted to go and sit in a beer garden.

I've been trying to buy mushrooms off the dark web most of today. Its driving me mad.
