Yes, we now have the almighty Bad Romance but this is still amazing in its own right. Where would we be without the high pitched horns and other recycled sounds by RedOne?

Most importantly I just really needed to express how fucking brilliant the "muh muh muh muh" bit is.

It's not quite up there with 'Alejandro' or 'Mary Jane Holland', the latter of which still brings on multiple hernias and the urge to run around in public ARSE HIGH UND TOUT NU, but I'm feeling generous so ZEHN :disco:

Some ungrateful cunt!

It's amongst her best for sure. Not as good as Paparazzi though.

I always thought Paparazzi was a bit weak in its album version (the production especially) but it came alive during the VMA performance.

This remix makes it much better:

I remember hearing a clip of "Poker Face" in this for the first time. I knew I needed the full thing ASAP.

Still no part 2. Never change Gaga.

This is the Gaga I actually enjoyed. Poker Face in particular reminds me of the very first parties I went to when I moved to France <3

It's so familiar now, it's hard to recall just how excited I was watching the video for this after a drab few years for pop. I had JUST started going to clubs too so I was practically FROTHING in anticipation for the first time I heard it out.

Apart from feeling horrendously old, i'm quite looking forward to when late noughties nostalgia kicks in in a big way.

It's obviously a great pop song, but it's so overplayed and I'm bored of it. I've also Always prefered Let's Dance.

I never realised what a good song 'Just Dance' was until THIS happened, which was apparently FAR TOO GAY for dads and nans watching telly of a Saturday and off he went. Oh the very INJUSTICE of it all

10/10. But then she shit out 10/10 songs as singles back in those days and it isn't one of my top five at all...

It's a pop classic, one of the most iconic of the last decade, but all three of the Fame Monster singles towered over all of the debut album singles IMO.

It does kind of have a "2008" vibe about it whereas the Fame Monster singles hold up a bit better these days.

It was great, but suffers from how amazing everything that came after was. I mean it's no ARTPOP IS IT? :disco:

What tops it? Don't say Bad Romance
  1. Bad Romance
  2. Dance in the Dark
  3. Judas
  4. Bloody Mary
  5. Applause
  6. In fact pretty much all of art pop
  7. Telephone
  8. Rain On Me
  9. Sine From Above
  10. Free Woman (remix with Rina Sawayama)
  11. Alejandro
  12. LG7 - First Single - XX October
  13. Fashion (the Heidi Montag one)
  14. Nothing On But The Radio
  15. Paparazzi
AND I COULD GO ON

Though Poker Face will always be special to me as it was very much my GAY AWAKENING and fundamentally changed me into the LOON I am today

I just wave my head around
Happy Lady Gaga GIF by BuzzFeed

Applause is that mid tier banger that casually slays without being the best of what she's capable of. love her delivery on the verses, very cunt. nostaljuhzzz for geeks indeed.
