I’m doing NZ series two now and it definitely is far better than the first, though as Lolly said the challenges and rewards are all a bit low budget.
 
I actually don’t hate that. I feel the US version jumped the shark a bit with so many idols in each series that it took away from the game.
 
Idols have to be used in moderation. It can be boring without them, but too many (particularly when it feels convenient with timing and who is at risk), and the show feels overproduced.
 
The last few seasons of US have reduced the idols down again and it's at a really good place - season 45 to 48 have been excellent.
 
Episode 13 of Titans vs Rebels is showing as 'title unavailable due to expired rights' for me - but episode 14 onwards is fine. Thankfully it is easily available on YouTube.

Looks like we are on the same watching pace then

The merge is going to be messy, Cannot wait!
 
I've now watched the first two tribals after merge. Messy indeed!
 
Feras must have had laser hair removal before going on, surely. Watching the men's chest hair grow in as the series progresses is one of my favourite things about the show, but he seems completely smooth below the neck over five weeks in :(

And his beard lines are suspiciously sharp.
 
Finished it. What a satisfying season. It will probably rank as one of my all time favourites - although other seasons have had more players I liked, the gameplay this season was much stronger from a number of players I thought. Certainly better than those seasons where voting tends to go straight down tribal lines. This one had new alliances forming all the time - it must have been a lot easier to edit to make scrambles look interesting.

And Channel 10 have had to disable commenting on X and instagram
 
How is this news now? Hadn't it been confirmed before that it wasn't returning?

And I very much doubt it cost near £30m. Every story stating that has 'allegedly' or 'reportedly' attached to it.
 
I just cannot for the life of me work out why they would get rid of JLP - one of the most unanimously liked hosts of any show ever that I can see. He’d even calmed down his love of the ‘big boys’ and made it more equal in the last few seasons which was my only complaint about him. I just feel like there must have been something going on behind the scenes that neither he nor the channel are admitting to.

He was too expensive. I think it was as simple as that.
 
Not sure if anyone is watching AU V The World but ep1 and 2 are up there with some of the best.
