I do occasionally go weeks without bread when I am in proper Shape shifting mode and it doesn’t really bother me but when I’m back on it I’m ON IT

I'm only giving up wine first because there are better alternatives I could make do with than for any of the others.

Particularly so if I'm allowed to have vermouth.

  1. 🍷 Wine (I don't drink anyway)
  2. 🧀Cheese (other nicer salty and less fatty things)
  3. 🥖Bread (alternative staple foods)
  4. 🍫Chocolate (white chocolate I'd give up easily, but not the cocoa!)

I love cheese but mostly avoid it because obese.

Same with chocolate, if it wasnt for ms ron I’d rarely eat it, but when I do, I troff it.

Bread and wine are LIFE.

Wine would be easy, chocolate I never have except for mocha drinks and being trapped at family Christmas gatherings. I'd miss cheese, but even there I'm not a regular. I did see Miriam Margolyes being fed what looked like crispy cheese on This Morning whilst Cat and Ben tried to prompt her to say things we've heard her say before, which I've got to say is the only way to consume the stuff and never forget the America's Top Model top tip of tissue paper to absorb the excess fat. The bread we get here is mostly horrendous, but I love carbs.

It's an easy one for me - I love chocolate but it doesn't come close to the other three, which as a trio work perfectly together anyway

Only thing is I will eat bad chocolate but bad cheese, wine or bread are more offensive

What a TRULY EVIL question! I'll say chocolate cos at least then there's still stuff like salted caramel and biscoff and RACHEY'S FUDGE.

Easiest to give up in order:

1. Wine
2. Bread
3. Cheese
4. Chocolate

I drink alcohol and love a wine, and actually had 3 glasses yesterday. I rarely crave it though and it’s just something nice to have every now and then when socialising. Bread I can sometimes go without for weeks without even noticing.

Cheese and chocolate on the other hand are very different.

Wine, though chocolate isn’t top of my list either.

I’m a beer or gin boy though so can give or take a vino.

Hmm!
  1. Cheese -- A complete betrayal of my passport, perhaps, but I've steadily gone off this over the years to the point where even mild cheddar makes me gag a bit these days. :/ A very far cry from the era when I'd stump up like, half my salary to have first dibs on the latest imports coming into my lil' town.
  2. Chocolate -- Never been a fan of anything except the ultra-dark variety, and even a bar of that will take me a good six months to work my way through...
  3. Bread -- I don't consider this a necessity in my life, but I'll admit that I'm rather partial to the chia & flaxseed loaf from my nearest pretentious bakery. File under 'easy' breakfast food, unless at a nice osteria in which case give me the olive oil + balsamic and watch me embrace obesity. :disco:
  4. Wine -- I literally do not go anywhere at the weekend without a wine stain remover in my bag. Shocked - stunned!! - that this would be leading the poll! (One does not do white or sparkling or rosé unless already very inebriated and/or seduced by an undeniable deal/human however.)

1. Wine - easy, beer is better
2. Chocolate - there are other desserts I can eat
3. Cheese
4. Bread - not my favorite of the 4, but its so convenient for lunch

I've never heard of Franzia before.

As a Brit I'd never assume superiority over an American over wine, anyway.

Definitely over cheese, obvs

Oh I don’t know darling
English sparkling wine is pretty good these days “thanks” to climate change ..

I don't think I've ever been fully convinced by an English red, though.

And more importantly I can't get a bottle of it for £8 from Co-op.

I bought a bottle of WHITE MALBEC yesterday for the weekend. Has anybody tried it? It’s an odd colour - completely clear like vodka.

Oh I don’t actually drink Franzia now, but it was popular in college
