I'm actually not, I just don't think anyone here is too revered to disagree with. it's a fucking discussion forum - not just a place for you to shout angrily at everything.

and if we're serving tea I find it funny that anytime anybody has the gall to disagree with you about anything, you totally freak out or resort to "wind your neck in!" or "get off my dick!". are you 14? what happened to discussion, and why are you so angry?
 
It is interesting though that not a single other person yet has acknowledged that she’s a terf or commented on her post, which for my reckoning is worse than anything that even JK Rowling has said to date. Certainly worth pondering.

I’m not serving any tea nor am I freaking out, nor am I angry.
 
I get that it is frustrating to be online or in the world generally at the moment as opinions become more extreme, but I do agree that sometimes it appears like you jump down people's throat very easily if they voice a slightly different opinion or make levity of a person they clearly still aren't actually supportive of, funky.
 
I just assumed people haven't commented because she's so utterly batshit that there's really no point. What CAN be said? People know who she is.
 
we all know she's unhinged, has said racist things, will say anything for attention, etc etc, none of this is at all new, so why do we need to keep getting mad about it?

it's like going on about how dangerous, evil or fascist Trump is - what's still to say? on moopy of all places can we not just laugh at him and sporadically lust after his big sexy arse*?

Give me one example.

I never ever jump on anyone who hasn’t jumped on me first. That’s always my issue. It’s frustrating when people say “oh you’re over reacting” when I reply to disagree with someone who has disagreed with me. It’s like you can’t win on moopy.

Unless you’re talking about politics.

For the record, I REGULARLY get private messages from people telling me that I was right to defend myself or they don’t understand why Jark or whoever it was got so invested in something that didn’t involve them etc. it happens all the time. People don’t want to speak up on moopy for this EXACT reason, it’s always been this way, but because I will happily defend myself I’m seen as angry or over emotional.

Not too much on funky plz! I think he's just pointing out that gays often seem to be the first to express moral outrage but are also fine overlooking it when there's humor value in someone. I don't think anyone here actually SUPPORTS her, it's just the the Internet makes 'problematic fave' humor translate really poorly.

I've read through this and I have a few comments.

No fucking clue what this has descended into. From what I can assess, Mercury must be in retrograde, because that's some cold sad sloppy shit on display here.

Funky, sorry, I shouldn't have gotten involved. I was in a bad mood and it came out in my response. You're as entitled to your say as anyone.

Probably regret posting this when sober but just had a horrible debate with a parent siding with Rowling/Navratilova et al... Watching the tennis and they started talking about trans people being predatory and after an hour of debating it calmly, I lost my cool and just told them how hurtful it was to hear those things from my own experience as a gay person. I can't understand why they don't see the hurt it has caused me over the years. This debate is so toxic and so upsetting to see people I thought were gay allies sucked in by the JK brigade. Horrible!
 
He is clearly very mentally unwell, but how do you deal with someone who refuses to get help with their issues & also isn't reaching the threshold for sectioning or other forms of intervention?

I can genuinely see a situation rapidly approaching when he causes serious bodily harm or worse to a trans person.
 
And the fact that we make the mentally unstable mouthpieces for clicks and likes…
 
The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me - a change of tack I suspect she's adopted because she's noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was - I might never have been this honest.

Are there genuinely any uni-sex changing facilities at Council run swimming pools, where there aren't also single sex changing facilities available? Or is this another fiction she's created?
