Projected to do 196k its third week, which is less than the last album. Hard to compare given the massive first week, but I’m sure the variants will keep coming if it doesn’t stabilize soon.
 
The updated Eras! concert film goes out on Disney+ for Dec 12th, she could release an edition of TLOAS that includes a blu-ray or DVD (2 EDITIONS) of the concert for Christmas. :disco:
 
Disney+'s deal will prevent a physical edition that close to the streaming release. Or maybe even at all during the period of the licence.

Imagine the biggest female star in the world agreeing to something silly like that. I hope this doesn't come back to haunt her in thirty years time when she still can't release her greatest tour ever on physical format cause of something silly signed back in the day.

Well, I thought I was finally hearing my first Taylor song all the way through, fate of Ophelia one, but it stopped for no reason 90 seconds or so in. Was a Midnight remix and I was totally drunk on it. I hope she's a fan of that LeAnn Rimes remix CD and does one too as it might be my only hope of becoming a Swifty.
 
Yeah no interest in a full album, but whatever tricks she is playing at it has to be said - The Fate of Ophelia rather slaps. Nice that she has gone back to having a bit of a meaty chorus for once.
 
She is a good example of GO WOKE AND GO BROKE, she turned her flop around and is in her most successful era as a would be TRAD WIFE to a NFL player.

I doubt she will let that happen, expect a remix package tomorrow!

To be fair, “Golden” is a strong contender points wise so no need to sound the alarm. She should stabilize a bit with airplay soaring.

However, I don’t see an obvious second hit. I suspect Opalite or Wood will be next and perform like I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
 
I miss an old-fashioned, traditional singles run and I am not blaming the streaming era for ruining them. Dua proved you can still carry one with Future Nostalgia, so did Sabrina with Short and Sweet.

That was different tho'. Those were both "breakthrough" albums. Taylor Swift is literally the biggest artist on the earthso anything she does will be gobbled up and gorged upon immediately.

Sweet & Sweet was a juggernaut of a singles run but let’s not forget the 3 big singles were released before the album or on the album release date. Bed Chem organically became a moderate, but lesser, hit based off their momentum months later. But I think the major difference with the streaming era is it doesn’t produce traditional hits that coincide with radio adds, digital releases, etc. unless you release an A-list collab or release fan fueled bundles/physicals. So longer album campaigns are mostly out of the question.
 
That's another factor I forgot, Sabrina started the tour immediately after the album's release, so a handful of songs became organic hits (Juno, Bed Chem, Busy Woman from the rerelease was not it?). Taylor herself has said she has no desire to tour this album or tour at all from tweets I saw in X so she's been doing "traditional" promo, as in, podcasts, magazine interviews, and photoshoots.
 
God, why is she so OBSESSED? It is really weird how desperate she is to be number 1, why does she need the validation? Take a holiday, enjoy the £135 million you've already made from the record!
 
Well watching her Netflix documentary a few years back, she was visibly distraught when Reputation underperformed (relatively speaking) and missed out on an Album of the Year nomination. So when she realized she could manipulate the charts, which to her credit most do not have the fan base to do, she ran with it ever since. At the end of the day though about half of her chart toppers don’t feel actually that big, but got there because of some front loaded release or gimmick.
