The difference between fettuccine and tagliatelle is really not worth remembering.

I've just discovered the de Cecco online store where I'm promptly going to spend all my money. they have everything! there's a BUCATINI GRANDI with an extra large hole. and the spinach linguine looks like a necessity.

also you only have to buy 25kg in weight for free delivery so HAPPY DAYS!

The only one I use for a homemade cacio e pepe is a pasta called Tagliolini. It is literally the only dish I use that for because I find for the simplest of pasta dishes it is unusually difficult to get right.

my local posh one is currently selling a brand with packaging designed by Dolce & Gabbana :manson:

@Jark, I will mention them again because I practically use their videos for meditation, but when you do begin your sfoglia rolling endeavours I'll recommend Pasta Grannies for visual guidance and inspiration. they make it look so easy

@Mats amazing. I'll genuinely spend half my weekend watching their videos :D thanks hun!

It does. They also make a spinach one (really really good) and a beetroot one (haven't tried it yet).
The spinach one sounds good but I can't really imagine the carrot one. I want to try it

Loads missing @Jark.

My favourite ever is probably Orecchiette. It is the perfect pasta for most occasions. Trofie is the best for pesto too.

Of that list I think Pappardelle, Rigatoni or Linguine are my most common gotos. Pappardelle is essential with a ragu.
Oh. :D

STROZAPRETTI aka priest stranglers please.

Incredible plate of homemade (at the window, in front of you) plate of strozapretti can be eaten at Osteria Da Fortunata in Rome if anyone's going.

It looks lovely but a short description would have been nice. Truffle?
