Usually the four highest ranked losers in the final round go into a random draw to place the order of lucky losers. Once the main draw starts you have to sign in on site daily if you want considered for a slot if you weren’t one of those four and there’s more withdrawals.

Absolutely brutal for Max Basing losing 6-3 6-0 6-0 but he did have to go through five rounds of qualifying to get here, the final round went to five sets.
