Jonas Brothers - The Album (May 12th) + Waffle House

The album is basically a joy from start to finish. "Americana", "Summer in the Hamptons", "Celebration!", "Miracle", "Vacation Eyes" are my early highlights.

Still getting used to how short albums are these days. But so far this seems like a lovely summer afternoon album :disco:

Projected to debut top 5 in the US with 51-58k. Not a bad result considering the lack of hit.

Jonas Brothers’ The Album (Republic) and a surprise mixtape by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Richest Opp (NBA/Motown), start off the week with identical projections—both titles are in the mix for a Top 5 debut. Will one of them pull ahead before the new HITS Top 50 on Friday? Stay tuned.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again (NBA/Motown): 51-58k
Jonas Brothers (Republic): 51-58k

Look for projections Monday for new releases by Bailey Zimmerman (Elektra/Warner Nashville) and Lauren Daigle (Centricity/Atlantic) and the 10th anniversary release of Daft Punk’s Grammy-winning Random Access Memories (Columbia).

Speaking of NBA, how about those Lakers?

I would have thought Bailey Zimmerman would have been the highest new entry

Nice to see. It always feels like it should be higher based on its streaming positions compared to other artists (eg. Zara being 7 spots above but way below on Spotify) but I guess sales are very close around that region currently.

ANOTHER 70s Revival album :disco: Elton John, Doobie Brothers, bit of Earth Wind & Fire... I need another listen as nothing is jumping out as much as the singles, but I appreciate the direction.

However I really like Vacation Eyes and will be keeping that.

Only just listened today and I’m LOVING IT

Agree with funky re Vacation Eyes

Only a couple of skips for me, love the 70s feel of it and the vocals are great. JONAS UP

Waffle House gets a new Spotify peak in the UK today, so hopefully it can continue its climb up. It really is a phenomenal pop song. #1 on the UK airplay chart too which is quite :o for them.

Been basic I am bopping to Celebrate these days, but most of it is pretty good.

I actually think Who’s In Your Head would’ve fit on here quite nicely, too.

Flies up 8 spots to #22 this week, now on its tenth week in the chart. Quite the little run now. Doubt it will go much further, though streaming is holding well and they did get a sneaky new peak on Spotify yesterday.

#20 on the first look for next week.

Seems to be treading water in the US. Not sure if it helped that they pushed "Summer Baby" while this was still gaining.

What a badly worded tweet. The children were created with her but the caring has been WITHOUT her, I gather, and that's the issue to him.

Some days I fear Pop Craze is not the bastion of journalism it once was

A father caring for his children? What sort of bullshit is this.

IKR. Also, you're rich, pay someone else to do it if you can't be arsed yourself

It very much reads like he's briefing to the press to imply she's some kind of UNFIT MOTHER

It’s certainly backfiring on him
