first women's SF will be Sabalenka v Pegula in a rematch of last year's 3 setter at the same stage. Sabalenka squeezed through against Noskova playing pretty well. Jess beat Navarro playing kinda badly.

Sabalenka showed splashes of brilliance but still looked very beatable. I believe in JPeg’s chances.

the level of the first set between Sabs and Jpeg was pretty crazy. unfortunately I think Jess came out SO strong that Sabalenka found an extra level at 5-4 and never looked back.

Gauff and Ryba wasn't a classic but I fell asleep before the last set.
