Enya: General Updates

Oh I forgot if this was shared here before (thanks to @IslandAngel for finding ) that Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh mentioned Enya in a print interview in the past month:

My first thought on this was that it gives 'retired' but obviously it's good to hear that she is enjoying life more ♡ and more relaxed as there's less pressure on her personally of course.

Still, new Enya songs before 2030 would be sweet.

Got it, so Enya is just enjoying life and doesn't care that we're waiting for new music haha

Haha that's what I thought too.

Then again En did say previously she forgets about the fans, record company, past album success etc. (to not overwhelm herself) so it makes sense, in a way.

This century anyway, aside from us speculating, Eithne is not a typical fan-serving artist besides the music itself (except some photos, autographs, philanthropy and getting to chat with her outside of Donegal if you're lucky enough). ️
Though I've also missed out on the main Enya era simply for not knowing about her, and my parents didn't either, I'm not bitter about it, and definitely not towards her. Maybe just anemoic...
