Hi ๐Ÿ˜Š
I am quite a big fan of Enya :enya:๐ŸŽผ ๐Ÿ’• have been since 2021) and the Teletubbies since late 2002. ๐Ÿ‘ผ๐Ÿป โ™ฅ๏ธ ๐Ÿค—

Going back to uni for a master's in mid-September! So if you're reading this wondering where I've gone, I am genuinely busy irl haha.

Also I really hope there'll be new Enya music by 2030 haha (or an announcement about it) ๐Ÿ˜ I have bits of insider knowledge :disco: but not on new Enya music!

Here on Moopy I hosted Big Hug! ASFM (Summer 2026) ๐Ÿค—๐ŸŽถ for the first and possibly last time :D

In 2025 I bought many CDs and a personal CD player. ๐Ÿ’ฟ Also collecting cassettes ๐ŸŽž๏ธ๐Ÿ“ผ (I mean the music ones but I did grow up with VHS tapes, Teletubbies included!)

In 2024 I finished my undergraduate degree in biomedical science ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ although it sounds clever, it hasn't got me very far in terms of work or next degree (yet). :D

In 2023 I joined Moopy (and later that year I had a hit thread)! :grin:https://www.moopy.co.uk/threads/guess-disneyteletubbys-top-20-artists-on-spotify-%F0%9F%8E%B6-sep-23.108263

My 'typical' favourite song by Enya is Only Time ๐ŸŒ  mostly for its nostalgia/anemoia, and the music video. ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽผ

My more obscure and relatable favourites by Enya are Dreams and On Your Shore (which is where some of my 'signature' quote is taken from). ๐Ÿ’•

I do like 'older' music (70s-80s, a few before that) and lots from the late '80s and late '90s. I was around for most of the 2000s and early 2010s so some of those stick with me too. The odd few songs released today might be okay, but there's not as much that I'd stick with (unless I already like the artist/their approach to art). I've often liked orchestral/soundtrack music ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŽผ but mostly indifferent to most other "New-Age" though - Enya herself even said 'it's thin air', and her music's far more than that.

(Mostly Enya, and thank you for watching/listening to any of my uploads! ๐Ÿ˜Š)

There are so many great artists that I discover and like the music of, but I'm genuinely intrigued by and can often relate to this lady and her music, regardless of age. It's timeless โ™ก๐ŸŒ

The love for Enya's music worldwide, across different generations and backgrounds, is really wonderful. โ™ก
Her career in music is inspirational - taking breaks whenever, subtly going far beyond the norm, polite yet quietly rebellious, and though she explores beyond her domain, she remains true to herself ๐Ÿค— that's what I admire most about Enya and the music she writes. ๐ŸŽผ๐Ÿ’—

Updated late August 2026
