The overture starts with Te Deum, leading into an instrumental medley spanning seven decades. The curtain rises. That’s as far as I’ve gotten.

Oh, well, it doesn’t suit me to make a trip to London then anyway. Maybe if it’s good enough it will transfer to the West End. That’s how I got to see Paul Mescal in Streetcar.

What should a Eurovision musical be called? What should the plot be? What songs should be included? What would be the opening number? The Act 1 closer? The finale? What 25 songs make the cut and how can they be strung together coherently?
