I’ve never seen the end of Groundhog Day.

We went to the cinema and dropped some LSD. It was someone’s first time and they freaked out a bit in the cinema. I think we got up to about the third day of him waking up to the same song.

Ummm, this is because as a 16 year old I never made it past the first bedroom scene!

I'm sure I'll think of less grubby examples.

Actually, the most perfect film to never see the end of with multiple attempts. I've seen it, but don't remember much beyond I Got U Babe.
 
Mostly just the films I’ve walked out of at the cinema because they were so insanely tedious. It’s not many so they’re quite memorable:

It did take me I think 7-8 attempts to watch the first Twilight film without falling asleep. I don’t know why I kept trying, but I got there in the end. Then I watched half of New Moon and turned it off.
 
The Butterfly Effect (2004). It was on TV some point in the early 2010s (I was 9 but this was a 15; I happened to be watching alone). The characters were suddenly swearing every other second so I lost interest and changed the channel. I was interested by the boy drawing some violent image near the beginning though. 😅
 
I can’t think of anything but it was years before I saw the ending of Jurassic Park. I saw it in the theater at the end of its run and fell asleep about mid-way through. I think I finally watched it on DVD when it got released.
 
I've never finished "The Empty Man" despite starting it around 15 times. I think it's because I aways start watching it at around 1:30am.

Thats a terrible idea and thats coming from someone who put acid in his eyes.
 
I can see the appeal of making Jurassic Park a bit more lively but having been stuck in a psychedelic induced thought loop watching a film that is about a man stuck in a loop sounds a bit too spicy.
