I fear I... don't find her voice that listenable anymore. it's kind of grating in that clip.
 
What happened to the breeziness? What happened to the relistenability?
 
The song underneath the production feels very slight to me. I don't dislike it though.
 
Yes I like it but was expecting/hoping for a little more based on that initial clip.

What HAS she just seen here though?

 
It’a nice, but a bit too close to Dancing On My Own, production wise.

Something just isn't clicking this era I fear.
 
I think Upside Down might be my favourite the only one I like of the three. It reminds me a bit of Wrong Impression.

Same 🤩 I got recommended this thinking it was an older song of hers for a moment (the setting in the car with her fearful driving immediately reminded me of Shiver). 🩵
Then her hoodie/cardigan dancing is like Torn. ☺️

Wait it was only earlier this month she mentioned she was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD? 💛

I suppose people realised she was a bit different in some way ages ago. ☺️ (I figured she probably had ADHD since that podcast thing when she was talking about packing for a holiday and said 'neurodivergence kicks in' or something.)
 
Haha I love this recommendation last week (she didn't invent it, but to gladly try something like that on TV, you'd have to be unafraid and a bit out there :grin: )
 
Enya resolutely REFUSES to do anything new, and the only things ever getting pregnant in her castle are her cats and cellar spiders.

She does however cross with being her own algorithm and she does like to fine dine

Not the last one :D probably in perimenopause 10 years earlier.

Enya was ~2 years older than Nat when she released the legendary Dark Sky Island. 🤩🌌
 
I was about to say Dark Sky Island and White Lillies Island. Ironically Natalie's is darker and named after a property. 😅
 
5½ years or so (unless the time Orinoco Flow played on CBeebies in 2008 counts :D)

Torn was all I knew by Natalie Imbruglia until February 2021 (then remembered she was a judge on the X Factor, and that she acts too). To be honest there needs to be a Venn diagram for Jill Halfpenny and Nat. ☺️
 
Enya is bilingual; I don't think Nat speaks much Italian? Savoiardi guy :D sang with her on Ultime Parole or something.

The algorithm should inspire her to develop some language like Loxian. :grin:

Nat and Gina Lollobrigida :disco: (both of Italian descent, can act and sing; regarded as 'the most naturally beautiful woman in the world' at some point. Personally I don't like such titles, but it's evident they looked beautiful in addition to talent. ♡)
 
I pre-ordered the CD yesterday, and decided to relisten to Just Drive. 💟 I do feel the instrumental could've been better, but I like her voice; the raspy timbre is fine here. Sometimes the chorus reminds me (musically) of Just The Way You Are. 😅
The outro would make a cool sample "don't let me take that from you/I'll never take that from you". 🎶

I used to think so too but have been to two of these kind of things solo in the past (signing and performance) and there were plenty of people there on their own and nobody batted an eyelid. I’ve also reached an age where I no longer give a fuck too!
 
They do quite a lot there, Jade did her signing there for Manchester
