Still going and apparently Gaga surpassed her last year with her 4 wins for a total of 22 VMAs to Madonna’s 20.

Rumour has it Madonna has 4 nominations.

Best long form video (Confessions II - the film)
Best album (Confessions II)
Best collaboration (Bring your Love)
Best pop (Bring your Love)

Or maybe two of those and two technical ones like Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography
 
You know what would be a VMA showstopper? a medley of the album's second half. If she ain't getting a budget by the label for filming then just go all out on stage, M. End this shit with LES Girl and leave the audiences gay crying.
 
Hope Madge presents Xtina her big V then, but when she goes to kiss her the camera cuts to a disgusted MJB.

I did fantasize about the VMAs being resurrected simply to offer a promo platform prestige moment for the campaign. Hope she does an album medley megamix and finishes the crowd off with Vogue and Hung up... but next up, Xtina performing her big 4 again!
 
If she does perf at the vmas I suspect she will do
Justice to the fifa thing and do it properly as a Music / Danceteria / Bring your Love medley. Maybe with bit of One Step Away before she comes on.

Instead of the two ropey footballers she can get Sabrina and Miley to reference the 2003 moment but with no kissing to tease and also because no.

And then present Xtina with her award but make it all about her by talking about the kiss like she did with aretha Franklin that time

It would be radical if they decided to call it a day and have this be the last one with Madonna bookending it all with a remix of Like A Virgin and Danceteria.
 
News just in: She's going to perform an acoustic version of The Test. Lola is busy on a advert campaign in Paris, Madonna is looking into either Jenny Frost or BlueBell-Madonna-Halliwell guesting on Lola's part. All early stages.

I will not have Christina's videography disrespected like this. Stripped alone gave us the sticky, slimy stylings of 'Dirrty', the haute-emo eleganza of 'Fighter', and dared a generation of Jesy Nelsons and Ariana Grandes to dream on 'Can't Hold Us Down'. Who else was doing ALL THAT?

She has probably also released other videos since then.
