Random deep/disco/funky/piano house tunes (1 Viewer)

This was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say they did NOT disappoint :disco: not sure how I missed this! I think I need to subscribe to Defected's playlist...

More of the same from Chaney, very 00s funky house

I find Morales's own compositions a bit generic sometimes, but I love this smooth new cut, featuring one of the best voices in dance music

This is so early 90s US house :disco: sounds like a lot of stuff I'm relistening to in my 90s thread. Gorgeous

This is a bit more upbeat compared to recent Satin Jackets - a bit of beach house in time for the summer. Very nice

This is the highlight from his new album. The piano hook in this hits HARD!

I love some of the production choices on this, really takes me back. Not just the piano and vocal loop but the spacey production is very ravey too

Gorgon City back in commercial mode and it's working. They've really found their form again

Can't tell if this is a sample or just sounds like lots of other stuff. Fun funky house

BIG artists this week mostly...

Big main room trance-house anthem from Duke Dumont. This could be massive in Ibiza this year.

Modern piano house track with 90s throwback overtones from Chaney... commercial but good

Nice moody ravey piano from Melle Brown

More deep house from Franck

Groovy disco house from my fave

KC Lights usually goes for the uplifting bops. This works

David Morales being quite prolific at the moment, this is also good

More commercial leaning, but lovely piano

Defected serving again

This is a lovely slice of handbag :disco:

Summery beach house music. This Rona Ray has been popping up on lots of deep house tracks recently

This is quite good, might need a couple more listens but definite potential!

cant post a new thread, anyone know where i could find a space manouvres stage one pariah remix its on a sasha cd on youtube but its only got the half cut version of his on youtube

This remix came out late last year but I'm just getting into it now. Funky!

I see to love everything that DJ Rae puts her name to

Deep and shiny

Todd Terry has been on a roll lately... has gone back to handbag with a few tracks recently and the results are great

This is deeeeeeep. Very early 90s US Garage

Haven't posted in a while... here's the best of the year so far

Obsessed with this acid rave banger

Been a bit disappointed with Tensnake's recent releases but loving this blatantly early 90s bop

Liv East does a lot of beautifully moody deep house stuff and this feature is more of the same

Dance versions of 70s songs are often terrible but this is so faithful to the wonderful original I love it :D

My fave track from a really good EP by dance vocalist Alex Mills. Reminds me of that deep house revival of the 10s (Duke Dumont, Gorgon City etc)

A very groovy soulful house number that evokes memories

Mentioned this already but DJ Rae NEVER disappoints. A 3am poppers o'clock piano house smash

It's been a while...

This samples something that I can't place... great bit of piano house. I wish producers would stop using AI for their song covers... I almost ignored this.

This is a bop

There's been some great deep house remixes of Jill Scott songs over the years. Not sure why this one has suddenly surfaced from Words And Sounds Vol 3 when she has a new album out, but it's lush

Todd Terry keeps churning out those big vocal house tracks I miss, this is fabulous, what a vocal

Lifted from the new Tensnake album which I was a bit disappointed in, but this is really great, very faithful to the early 90s sound

This is quite possibly Jayda G's best ever track

Smooth and soulful, perfect timing for the warmer months

And another big 90s sounding track, sounds a bit Living Joy @Agneeta :disco:

Sampling Rachel McFarlane's classic "Lover"

Another soulful track featuring Rona Ray who is a great singer to follow at the moment, she's on a lot of great tracks and has an amazing voice

Seamus Haji lifts the same sample as Armand's "U Don't Know Me" but makes it more disco

a hit from Elderbrook - hints of Rufus du Sol perhaps

and a banger collab with Adriatique

Wait, it's summer you say? There should be lots of dance anthems coming from the continent! Well guess what, so there is!

Highlight of the very good Prospa album, this is popping off

Melodic deep house from veteran DJ Kevin McKay. Perfect for Ibiza daytimes

Speaking of daytimes, this reminds me of the sort of happy bouncy track that uses an old soul sample that lights up Ibiza every year. This is apparently also popping off

Saxaphone! Latin beats! Female vocal! A Bop!

Deep & funky with nostalgic vibes

James Poole is very popular at the moment, sometimes a bit generic for me but I like the 90s sounding vocal on this one

No idea who these are but this filtered disco track is Ibiza-ready and is popping up on various playlists

More filtered disco. Sounds like 1999!

Karen Harding doing afrobeats was not on my bingo card but this is moody and soulful and very fun for summer

I'm still stuck on Italo House, and there was a record by GROOVE CORPORATION, and I thought is that the GROOVE CORPORATION that formed from ELECTRIBE 101 after BILLIE RAY MARTIN left? Turns out it WASN'T, but THAT Groove Corporation recorded a cover of THIS track (in fact BRM ripped it off a bit for IMITATION OF LIFE...)

Some lovely new handbag tunes this week. The Mark Knight one in particular is a biggie

Been out a few weeks but I was bopping on my balcony in Mallorca last week to this

A gorgeous soulful house track, very Naked Music NYC sounding

A nice deep / rave crossover that sounds very early 90s

Feels like all Inner City do these days is remixes of their 90s stuff so it's nice to see an actual new tune from them, and it's a bop

And finally, Kolter seems to be the big breakout of 2026 with a series of tracks and this one is really picking up steam and looks like it could be a big crossover hit. It's a HUGE piano house track that actually sounds like it could be from 1991, and I love that.
