YES

I had many a melodramatic teenage mope to this, barely out of puberty and already fantasising about being a downtrodden housewife. :D No wonder my love life is fucked up.

But you don't even notice MEEEEEEE

OMG. This was my life too.

Obviously I Don't Want To Wait is the bigger pop culture moment, thanks to Dawson's Creek, but this was the bigger (UK) hit, right? And the better song.

This got to #15 and I Don't Want To Wait only got to #43, weirdly.

I like the album this comes from, but can't stand I Don't Wanna Wait. It's not that great anyway but the Dawsons Creek association just killed it stone dead for me.

I Don't Want To Wait is an amazing pop song, but it's a bit like the Friends theme tune - so indelibly linked to the series that it's hard to appreciate it in its own right.

I always liked to feel like a superior teen gay because I preferred Jann Arden's Run Like Mad (aka the Season One theme tune) :disco:

Jann Arden actually has a lot of good things (Run Like Mad is not one of them).

Could I Be Your Girl really should've been a hit.

Love it of course and I played the parent album to death back in the day. I still love it actually and it would still feature in my all time top 100.

corny as hell and i still love it. the beat and the chant is my favourite thing about it. i always think of this, shawn colvin's sunny came home and sarah maclachlan's building a mystery in the same breath.

Where is my John Wayne?
Where is my FURRY SON?
