Dolly was one of those acts where her chart success, or lack of, didn't really matter. She went above and beyond chart positions and sales.

Just been listening to Dolly's Greatest Hits CD in tribute to her. She really did have a lot of wonderful songs.

I can’t think of anyone, especially in the current climate, that is so unanimously loved. And obviously, rightfully so. This is a hard one.

You know what, I'd have never believed Dolly was the biggest private donator for the moderna COVID vaccine research. I got the moderna vaccine, so did my mother. Back in 2021 my father refused to be injected even though I tried to desperately convince him otherwise, so he eventually got COVID and died. So yeah, Dolly Parton did a lot of good in this world.

For someone who wasn't political her contributions to literacy and healthcare were more significant than nearly every politician. Ever.

Coat Of Many Colours is one of her best songs IMO.
