Rose Gray - Club To Your Arms

this is swirly and cute, a bit of a 10s blog pop throwback (a few songs lately sound like that).
 
What a dreamscape she's created: a collision of soft downtempo with a scattering rave debris, and that gorgeous diaphanous delivery of the title lyric. Oh Rose.
 
Having seen her at Szieget yesterday I hope she blows up proper big! Total hour of bangers (most of which I didn’t know) and she was serving cunt throughout.

But I need to see it again at a bigger stage, a bigger crowd and a later time slot.

this particular track didn't do a lot for me on first play but have you played the jigitz album love? I'm on it now and really enjoying. car crash is giving me Overmono, Salute and The Blaze in the best way. lots of different sounds from song to song.

I haven't listened to the whole album but Spotify has thrown up various tracks from it... car crash, seeing stars and the Rebecca & Fiona one. The Rose track is fine but doesn't really go anywhere. Talky Rose isn't my favourite though (see Damn).
 
Just Be Bodies is still good if not quite the absolute anthem that CTYA is. Let's hope it gains some traction which leads to the label pushing CTYA again early next year.
 
I definitely hear a Dewdrops In The Garden influence on JBB, which is deceptively not as anthemic as CTYA, but it's another home run for me.
