Thinking about it, X Factor was really damaging to many of its young contestants (something I obviously didn't realise at the time being younger at the time, but a lot of the general public kind of took it as their weekend entertainment too). Even if the contestants had talent, so many were 16-19 and quite vulnerable even if TV edits and the media suggested otherwise. 🙁 Or they'd dramatise stuff where it could have been recognised as bullying and/or discrimination. :(

Well, I'd never seen that. And I was like, yeah this is fine, lalala, and then yeeeeeah, really NOT fine.

Generally my feelings on X Factor are/ were that it was a fucking long show that I often watched because my partner at the time wanted to, and I got to the point where I hated it almost as much as I hated him. So that relationship ending was a twofer because I never watched it again.
 
I saw Lloyd Daniels in a club one time, he actually was offering to take a picture of me and some mates rather than us do it, he was just really sweet and nice, this is like 7 or so years ago so well after his time on that show, but he was still a young guy, and it was hard not to feel for him, because they just chewed him up and spat him out really, and that's got to have a cost to the individuals that happens to.
 
her music was too safe for the most part but agreed on Echo - mandatory mention for Brave which, as we all know, is the 28th best song of all time by a British female artiste
