I thought Rosebush Pruning would be the weirdest film I saw Callum Turner in this year by quite a way, but this actually runs it close. (@Finn he gets his kit off a LOT in this one, it's almost a 10 just thanks to how much they whore him, and others, out)

Loved the LinkedIn and dating app profile pictures referencing Ellie's favourite movie, Anyone But You. Would love even more if "Brave" by Sara Bareilles could have a Natasha Bedingfield-esque chart boost.

Spare a thought for all the saunas that the mandate would've put out of business.

It was infinitely better than Anyone But You because the characters weren’t hateful monsters. Still, I noticed that aside from Easy A, everything else Will Gluck has directed has been almost completely awful.

This could have been much worse, but it was totally watchable, aside from seeing Molly Ringwald slowly turning into Jocelyn Wildenstein.

I still can’t understand the whole Sex Purge premise though. “Congress” passed this law, so it’s only a law in the USA. Can’t single people just ya know, go on holiday and have sex when they want? If these biochip things in their wrists turn green when they’re allowed to have sex, and are permanently green for married people, couldn’t everyone just get married to a random person and just have multiple affairs with other married people? It’s never addressed at all.
