Chris Langham death: Disgraced The Thick of It star dies aged 77

The once prolific writer and actor was jailed in 2007 for downloading and possessing child sexual abuse material

Just as his career was peaking with Help & The Thick Of It, it was ended with his arrest & conviction for downloading images of child sexual abuse. Died from pancreatic cancer in June, but only announced now.
 
Silly bastard. A fabulous comic actor who ruined his own career with an act of gross stupidity and unbelievable arrogance. Imagine thinking that would be OK with everyone cos it was 'research' (which it probably wasn't).
 
I'm SUCH a fan of a delayed celeb death announcements. It's mad how news doesn't get out straight away.

Rolf Harris and Wincey Willis other recent classics of the genre. Not sure what Wincey did to deserve such company so do please suggest any more
