I think it’s fine. If she was doing all the dates it would be a bit weird but just 2 LA dates gets her out in front of some new and young fans without much effort.
 
I just discovered Get Outta My Way was originally offered to Britney :( I just heard the demo (sung by somebody else, not Brit), and I am disappointed, as I thought it was an original song since it's one of my faves :(

Look at her total daily streams, they are usually around 2m and today they are 3.4m. Something is fucked.

The paycheck was probably too fat to resist.
 
That makes complete sense. I love it but I always thought it sounded incomplete in some regard.
 
One of those being that the BVs are sometimes too prominent in the mix.

He’s doing an interview at a store in Balham in a fortnight which I might just go to. £30 including the book, and the shop has a BAR, so seems silly not to attend. Might be quite interesting.

He's the best biographer she has had but when the pool only contains Sean Smith, that's not exactly glowing praise.

He has been quite meticulous though and he's reasonably credible even though I've already spotted a mistake in the extract on the Guardian website.
 
Weirdly, this felt like teasing a hypothetical Tension Tour experience with a decent budget and some sort of clever staging. While her performing ability remains at a prime, she really needs guidance by some forward thinking creative talent. This outcome was fun, still a bit stale at this point. Long overdue to step up next, queen.
