Extensions to decide on participation have been granted to (at least) Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Hungary and Iceland - it feels like they might as well just change the deadline at this point. Spain were supposedly deciding today but have postponed the meeting.

I don't imagine any of last year's boycotters will be back, bar potentially the Dutch with a different broadcaster. And I suspect Belgium are a flight risk.

Slovenia most likely due to government change. Can’t see it for the others though.

Slovenia say they didn’t apply to participate or for a deadline extension but that they are meeting with the EBU. I guess the EBU is trying to actively have talks with the withdrawing countries.

Dutch media (including reputable outlets) saying that the Netherlands is in under the NPO, with more details to follow shortly.

Slovenia looking to be a case of just needing the money:

Obviously Czechia has been on the bubble for a while, but I do think there's a stealthily encroaching existential threat to Eurovision is that National Broadcasters across the board are increasingly cash strapped and struggling to keep pace with the changing way the public consumes media. They're going to have to reckon with it at some point.
