Rachel Chinouriri! Good guest.

(Is Dimoldenberg going to be insufferable in the sketches..?)

gonna have to watch delayed due to tennis but SO EXCITED I COULD SHIT!!!

I was a bit surprised CMAT didn't do When a Good Man Cries, but she was excellent anyway. Loved 45 Seconds with CMAT too.

CMAT was great

I found the episode charming but not top tier, by S1 standards

I loved Bi King Kong. 45 seconds with CMAT!!! and hurrah for Euro-Country :disco: stunning. the best musical PERF to date.

it was a good episode but plenty of room for bigger laughs next week! not sure yet on the new guy.

The invisible friend sketch is on the socials and I laughed, Al Nash really aced that.

oh my GOD! I laughed harder at the ode to Lime than anything last week. very fun monologue too.

The Lime song, the cold open and the X Factor sketch are on the socials as well as the Weekend Update Sheeran segment. Not sure about the X Factor one but everything else was excellent.

They've upped their social media uploads game thank god.

I enjoyed the X-Factor skit. I have no problem with them leaning into nostalgia once in a while.

"it's that woman from the 90s!" I LOVED this. Larry as Charles is maybe the best recurring impression currently (in the absence of Ange) and Jack gives such a sultry Diana. :disco:

This was a fucking sublime episode. Every sketch slapped for me, Weekend Update was phenomenal, and Jamie Demetriou was meh on paper but potentially my favourite host to date.

LOVE THIS SHOW

Emma Sidi was definite MVP this week. It felt like she was in as much as the actual host :disco:

I also think it was possibly the strongest episode yet. Was it the lightest episode for George Fouracres though? And I certainly don't think there's any link.

It helps that Jamie Demetriou appears to be a writer on the show, so they’re clearly very familiar with eachother. Emma Sidi is also married to his comedy partner.

Like most others (I think?) I'm more than a little smitten by Paddy. But as soon as he sweeps his hair back, it's spontaneous boner time.

I wonder if someone dropped out.

I'd be quite hapoy with him popping up every series as an "In case of emergency, break glass" host

It does go to show that much like SNL US, the guest host format is a bit of a novelty just for ratings. The episodes where they get a proper comedian or former cast member to return are usually really good, and the worst episodes are when they get a sports or music star with no acting experience.

crying at Ayoade being a religious reader of the r/livefromlondon subreddit.

18 Seconds with Fouracres
