New album out 12 March 2027.

Lead single out now. The vocal is a bit rough :zombie:

Rather ambitious sounding arena tour is also booked for next year, with Ladytron supporting.

I hear Vince has BAILED OUT OF TOURING and who can blame him

I'm listening to his 2023 AMBIENT/DRONE solo album 'SONGS OF SILENCE' RIGHT NOW and I love it but I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff

That vocal is appalling. Does Vince hate Andy or something? If that's the best someone with his programming talents can muster then I'd suggest Andy can't really sing at all at this point - and Live is going to be much much worse.

Vince Clarke will be Musical Director for the tour, but will not be appearing onstage alongside Andy Bell. He explains, “I recently moved to California from New York, and I travelled from here to London. The travelling took a toll – it really messed me up. I never seemed to recover from it. I just thought ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’. I told Andy, and he made me musical director, and I thought, ‘how fantastic is that?’ I can do all my work and all my direction from here, but I don’t have to leave sunny San Diego.”

Bell goes on to say, “I’m so pleased that we were able to find a way for the tour to work for Vince. He’s always too modest but he’s so much more than the Musical Director, Vince is one of the great loves of my life and everything we do as Erasure we decide together.”

Honestly, arena dates for half of Erasure in the year of our Lord 2027 feels very optimistic indeed.

It really is hard to get past that vocal. He didn't sound this bad on his solo album released last year.
