Celebrity Traitors (UK) S02E02

Leanne and Harper Stern must have been friends before this?

Surely Richard has the votes to go, there didn't seem to be enough people getting behind any of the other names put forward.

I’m so mad that it’s either Jerry or Hannah. All you had to do was lie down for a few minutes Jerry and they would have probably let you out first as the oldest woman there. So annoyed as I think Hannah will be the one to go.

And even if they do keep her then they’ll banish her next in a ‘why did she not die last night?’ Question.

Hypothetically, if either Jerry or Hannah were a Traitor, and one got banished at the round table, how would the murder work?

I’ll sadly assume if they murder Jerry instead, Hannah will be framed as ‘having to be a traitor’ due to not being murdered, given she is the smarter and more obvious choice.

Which sucks, as she has potential to go very far, but Jerry jumping out has likely ruined her game through no fault of her own.

I don’t think the producers considered the idea that so many people would get saved during the task tbh…
Yeah I really don't think they did - had Jerry not asked to get out I reckon they'd have gotten all of them. This is one issue with playing for charity cash. Ross very much had a redemption arc in that episode though, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go quite far now - he saved most of them from being murdered at least once.

Which in itself would make me want to murder him if I was a Traitor.

And if I was a Faithful, I don't think it would put me off him at all if I had other suspicions. As a Traitor they only need to murder one, and he'd have already known that he had Jerry and Hannah to choose from. And it would make the murder easier as it would be hard to look into 'why did they choose them' when there was only ever a 50/50 choice.

Hannah's getting on my tits. The idea Amol Rajan, a man with insane Apprentice energy and the vibe of someone who would lead the Faithful down blind alleys with aggressive overconfidence interrogating people who weren't Traitors at the roundtable, was the biggest threat to the Traitors; going off on a wild goose chase insisting Leigh-Anne is a Traitor because she applied a bit of lipgloss; being a statistician and not at all seeing the sense in the idea that Richard E Grant is an obvious BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY early pick/test for the Faithfuls when it's deeply unlikely they'd get one on the first banishment already.

I sadly don’t think Hannah ever had the potential to last long in this. She was always doomed.

People who are known by the group to be conventionally intelligent have a number on their back from the start, and I felt she wasn’t long for the game as soon as the line-up was announced. Obviously I hoped I was wrong, but the outcome of this particular mission has only locked it in.

If this were the civilian version, there’s no way she’d have revealed her professor credentials upon entering the show, but as she’s an already-known figure she had no choice.

Which, if the traitors were smart, they could weaponise against him. He's already the likeliest candidate to have been recruited thanks to the hat and the arm thing; if he was a traitor then Jerry bailing on the challenge meant he already had his victims and could then play the hero, rescuing everyone else.

Yeah I’ve never understood this… ‘ooo they saved lots of people in the mission, they must be a faithful’ narrative. They only get to murder one every night anyway so it doesn’t make any difference.

100% all this. Knew she’d been an early goner from the start.

Conversely, If Jerry survives this murder, I fully expect her to stay til near the end of the game, because she’s clearly useless.

Especially when the task was the team being BURIED ALIVE. And Ross being clearly the most physically strong, totally understandable why he’d want to get everyone out.

Still screaming that Leigh-Anne is up for the chop just because she dared to tart up for fifty cameras and strong lighting being on her, while they were still shooting.

God forbid she wants to look nice :D

:MerylPerplexed: Hope she gives good Merly moopmoji energy

Went to a viewing party at a friends last night and out of 8 guests I was the only one to bring wine!

David Olusoga made it to the final

Yes, but she does have LOVELY HAIR

SURELY they are all just going to vote Richard and all the other nonsense posited is just in the name of all being keenly aware they are making a TV show?

Had anyone actually heard of David Olosuga though?

One other theory is that if Richard goes they might not even murder and might recruit instead.
